Clearly trusted trader and AI wont eliminate the need for borders and certainly don't provide a silver bullet, but as far as current options go AEO will provide businesses with tangible benefits that will lessen the pain of cross border trade on a no deal basis.
This is shocking to absolutely no one who has been following this issue with a modicum of intellectual honesty.
Trusted trader schemes and AI don't eliminate the need for borders any more than online ticket sales mean you can just walk onto planes.
