The market didn’t crash. Humanity didn’t die. Crypto broke out.
This week gave investors almost every excuse to panic: AI extinction headlines, oil surging, 10-year yields back near 2007 levels, and a hawkish Fed hike.
Bears jumped to the highest level since the tariff panic and yet the S&P barely moved.
Meanwhile, my 46-name crypto ecosystem index broke to new highs for the year.
The bigger story is being missed.
Crypto spent 16 years building the rails before the users arrived. The next stage of the AI trade is here with the rise of AI swarms. Humans were never meant to be the crypto users. Agents were.
The ghost city is starting to fill.

It only took a few years to go from “governments are going to ban bitcoin!” to “bitcoin is an essential part of a ceasefire between nations engaged in kinetic combat.”
Bitcoin is quite literally empowering peace.
Ultimately the world will recognize what bitcoiners have known for a long time.
The world needs a digital, decentralized, non-sovereign, neutral asset to conduct global trade between countries that don’t trust each other.
Just a matter of time.

I had a friend who used to call me at 4am crying about her boyfriend. I’d wake up, listen, let her vent, and then go back to sleep, more than once. One night I couldn’t sleep, so I thought I’d return the favor and called her at 4am. She answered and told me she was sleeping, & I should call back tomorrow. Moral of the story: always remember that energy you give isn’t always going to be reciprocated—set your boundaries, even with “friends.”
