i know some people think that THE scene with the emperor is another manipulation. if you think on it, the slightest distraction can put all of the gang in danger, the emperor included, so sex is at least not necessary and at most is dangerous. and still he wants to take this risk
you know what else i like about the squid? that he doesn't have to, but still tries to be a friend. he is very supportive and understanding, he can admit it if wrong or unfair to tav. he is caring and attentive. he respects boundaries. he could be anyone else to the player👇🏻

the emperor is so funny when he starts just commenting on your actions in act 1. shows how lonely and bored he is. thinking about it makes me sad, tho knowing that he is always there and watching is somehow comforting in a way.
