here is what we shipped last week!
Orchestrator.inc v0.14.3 is out.
Artifacts: everything your agents make, in one place.
Chat now suggests your next message.
Manage agent CLIs right from Settings, and nudged to update then to latest versions.
Redesigned shortcuts, and a faster app overall.
See thread below for details 🧵

the agent already knows your next message, at some point you stop typing and just press tab.
@useOrchestrator
Half my day is typing the next prompt. Now it's one Tab.
This one's going to save me so much time. now on @useOrchestrator

Thrilled to see the progress of Orchestrator Inc!
Prateek has built the daily driver for working with coding agents.
(Also this video was made entirely with Orchestrator)
8 months ago I built a tool for myself because managing coding agents was a nightmare.
Today @useOrchestrator has over 13,000 stars on GitHub.
Thank you to everyone who starred it, broke it, fixed it, and built on it!
(this whole video was made in Orchestrator, no video editors / external tools were used)

We made terminals 14× faster. So fast that some of you didn't believe us.
But honestly? We're still disappointed.
The speed limit of information transfer is 299,792,458 m/s
We're not even close… yet
@useOrchestrator is now even faster
And this is just the beginning
just crossed 13k stars, orchestrator.inc ftw

hacking hours starting very soon at NeatHack... don't miss it!

neatHack is about to begin xitter.cf/i/broadcasts/1nxeLMaZj…
“Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
Building devtools which you would love to use is like sharpening your axe.
We are GUI and orchestration first, but honestly, terminals in @useOrchestrator weren't great.
So I did what any developer would
I pulled an all-nighter to fix that, and now they're faster than any ADE we tested:
- Typing lag: 13 ms (Other ADEs: 24–40 ms)
- Big output hits the screen 5× faster, and output-heavy - commands finish up to 14× sooner
- Closing a terminal: ~40 ms, down from ~100 ms
- Fixed the stray %, ghost tabs, flicker and tab reordering
You can use these terminals to run your favorite editors, tools, or even more terminal agents!
These an many more performance optimizations being rolled out in v0.13.5
Enjoy!
PS: The video is NOT SPED UP

it was a pleasure recording the podcast with you @Stellar_Work_eu ! :)
Thanks a lot for the highlight!
Four coding agents at once was my limit. I lost track. @agent_wrapper runs ten to twenty and built Agent Orchestrator to keep up. His honest productivity gain: two to three times. Verifying output stays human work. New episode of the podcast.

or just use / fork the Agent Orchestrator :)
orchestrator.inc
experimented with @useOrchestrator alongside my daily driver @orca_build this morning
- Orchestrator - best for big ideas that need splitting into multiple PRs without having to babysit each one
- Orca - best for tasks that need more oversight and frontend UI work
going to keep testing this setup out but I like how Orchestrator eliminated the need for manually tracking individual tasks that stemmed from a big feature set across sessions
It automatically did the orchestration work I had manually been doing in Orca. Well done devs
