Our Aging Fly Cell Atlas is out. Do different cell types age at the same rate? No. Which cell types age faster? Fat, liver and muscle. Which cell types age slower? Neurons. Great collaboration with @StephenQuake @HenriJasper @mariabrbic @TzuChiaoLu

We measured RNA stability genome-wide in Drosophila larval brains by culturing them with a chemical label. Amongst the highlights, we discovered that mRNAs coding for tissue specific transcription factors are highly unstable #RNAstability bit.ly/3p9uXqM
This looks really significant. Eventually there should be an RNA equivalent of alpha-fold. Beta-fold?
