That’s because it’s a GENOCIDE, not a war.

Macklemore has been dropped From Ed Sheeran's tour and says Sheeran "told me that the words 'Free Palestine' and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with." "I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood." variety.com/2026/music/news/…

To me there is no need to compare Israel with any past evils. It has defined a level of evil that creates a benchmark for all future evils to be compared to.

💢 “They were children playing with kites. They were just sitting there playing. They are killing children.” Israeli forces shot 10-year-old Palestinian girl Amal Abu Khater in the back, killing her instantly as she sat eating lunch inside her displaced family’s tent in western Khan Younis, southern Gaza, on Monday. Amal had just returned from memorizing the Quran and performing the Dhuhr prayer, her family told Drop Site. “There were people who felt safe, sitting in their tents. It’s supposed to be a safe area, and it is full of displaced people,” Amal’s relative Hassan Abu Khater told Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed. “What did she do to deserve to be killed? She was sitting and eating sweets... What sin did this little girl commit?” Amal’s grandmother, Samira Abu Khater said. Eight Palestinians, including two children, have been killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza since dawn Monday. “They fire indiscriminately,” Samira said. 🎥 Footage from Drop Site contributor Mohamed Ahmed.

“The convoy lacked clear markings.”
Replying to @AnitaAnandMP
Anita, spare us your never-ending anti-Israel outrage machine. It’s grotesque. The convoy lacked clear markings, the IDF mistakenly identified it as a threat and investigated. The Palestinians started this war knowing full well that tragic accidents will be used by spineless governments like yours to reflexively blame Israel.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The World Central Kitchen convoy vehicles were clearly marked with prominent WCK logos on roofs and sides, as shown in photos and confirmed by the organization and reports. The claim they lacked clear markings is false. nbcnews.com/news/world/pho… abcnews.go.com/International/… axios.com/2024/04/02/wor… x.com/kiarkini/statu…

A painful first anniversary… A previous scene of slain journalist Anas Al-Sharif with his daughter, Sham. One year ago, Isr🐷el assassinated Al-Sharif in a targeted strike on a journalists' tent near Al-Shifa Hospital in #Gaza City, alongside five colleagues. #GazaGenocide‌

What are your biggest worries when you look at this little girl? A child from Gaza lost her foot at a very young age, and today she stands amid all this suffering, trying to fetch water for her family. She carries water containers heavier than her own body, pushing herself beyond what she can handle, when her biggest concerns should have been a toy or an ordinary day at school.

The world has no idea what it means to spend the summer inside a tent in Gaza. Don't imagine a camping tent or a temporary shelter. We're talking about nothing more than sheets of nylon and fabric that turn into sealed ovens every morning. The sun beats down on them for more than 12 straight hours, trapping the heat inside until the tent becomes almost impossible to endure. Temperatures inside can approach 50°C (122°F). There is no electricity, no fans, no air conditioning, and not even cold water to offer a moment of relief. When night falls, people are not only fleeing the bombing they are fleeing the tents themselves. Entire families sleep on sidewalks and roadsides because the street has become more merciful than the place that is supposed to shelter them. Imagine a point where the pavement is more bearable than your own "home." Children suffer the most. Their bodies burn from the relentless heat, insect bites cover their skin, sweat never dries, and sleep has become a battle they lose every single night. No human being deserves to live like this least of all a child who has known nothing but war, tents, and hunger. While the rest of the world enjoys summer vacations, beaches, and camping trips, summer in Gaza has become another season of slow suffering. And even now, not a single caravan is allowed in to provide thousands of families with the most basic protection and dignity. How much humiliation must people endure before the world decides that more than two million human beings should not be left to burn inside nylon tents, as if their lives are worth less than everyone else's?

One of the largest mass funerals since the start of the war on Gaza… Palestinians held a single funeral procession for the remains of 112 people killed in Gaza after their bodies remained trapped beneath the rubble for nearly three years. The recovery operation took 136 consecutive hours of continuous work to retrieve them.
