since some of you are backtracking on what you said and claiming you weren't criticizing the storyline, but rather the poster for being a "copy", i'm gonna address this one more time you're acting as if Our Love Stories had some kind of unique, exclusive poster concept. but let me tell you something... lmaoooo that's not really the case 😹 this poster style is very common and widely used in period dramas because it's part of an artistic tradition that combines visual language, hierarchy, and marketing strategy. the concept of having one person standing while another looks directly at the camera (or everyone, if there are more than two people) is rooted in the tradition of aristocratic portraits and paintings from that era. that's how people were commonly portrayed in photographs and paintings back then. throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, it was very common for portraits of noble families, aristocratic couples, and members of high society to be composed this way and for anyone who wants to know more: chairs and armchairs were symbols of status and wealth back then. so, generally, the person sitting in one held a higher position and had more authority. in ASTR's case, we know that Boun, Earth, and First are brothers from a noble lineage, right? meanwhile, the people standing beside them represent a family or marital bond. in other words, their lovers so, at the end of the day, OLS didn't do anything new. they simply used a concept that has existed for centuries in the entertainment industry. so where exactly is the poster plagiarism? i've also seen people criticizing the actors' outfits. well... let me tell you something... they're dressed that way because all 3 couples get married at the end of the novel. those are wedding tuxedos 🤷
