3 Mins to get Up To Date on Axie Infinity's newest venture: Atia’s Legacy. As a longtime Axie fan, I’m excited by this MMO that expands Lunacia’s universe, tapping into a genre brimming with mainstream potential. So what’s the big deal, and why is Atia’s Legacy already making waves? Let’s find out.👇 ~~ Analysis by @wmpeaster ~~ ✨ What is Atia's Legacy? On March 5, 2025, @SkyMavisHQ, the creators of Axie Infinity, announced Atia’s Legacy, a new massively multiplayer online (MMO) game set in the Axie universe of Lunacia. The upcoming gameplay, which will be supported on mobile and PC, promises real-time, squad-based combat + guild wars in a post-war Lunacia landscape. If interested, you can pre-register now for playtests starting in summer 2025, with a full launch eyed for 2026. Referral rewards are also now live, including prize pools for over 25,000 AXS tokens (worth ~$80,000 as of now), plus raffle entries for rare Axie NFTs. Bottom line? @AxieInfinity is the biggest NFT project by all-time trading volume, so this new gaming advance can help entrench its IP dominance even further. 🔍 What to watch +1 million players and counting have already registered for the new game. How high might this number climb in 3 months? Also, the MMO format offers more varied activities than Axie's bread-and butter idle battlers, Origins and Classic, so Atia's Legacy has broader general appeal. Could this title eventually surpass Axie's flagship games in popularity as such? Zooming out, this MMO and the Open @ronin_network launch are big fresh catalysts for the Axie ecosystem, and specifically the new game paves the way for more economic complexity around AXS, e.g advanced crafting systems as token sinks. 🕛 How to get started If you're eager to get set up here ahead of the launch, you can pre-register at. Sign up with your email or Ronin Wallet to lock in your spot and eligibility for rewards ahead of the first playtests this summer and late 2025.
