I don't think its useful to act like friends are being selfish when they admit how exhuasting it is to be around someone who's always negative It IS exhuasting. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be there for people, but lets not lie. Instead lets discuss how you deal with it

Also alot of these type of posts assume that the friends have no issues of their own Sometimes people going through it and need to be around friends who will give them a respite from that, instead of make them more miserable That doesn't make them terrible people or friends

So the reason why this wouldn’t work is because the HE model is broken and entirely dependent on international student fees This would significantly reduce the number of international students and without their fees, there’d be *less* spaces in med school not more

People are genuinely arguing that dating profiles are ‘public’ which means if you have one, you’re automatically consenting to having it posted all over social media And it’s not just younger people who’ve grown up with that level of surveillance, it’s older people as well!

Living in a dark blue country is a gift. Defending functioning democratic institutions is a worthy use of your time. Strengthening democracy in the light blue countries is a must too. Establishing a democracy in a light or dark red country is a massive challenge since autocracies use technology to great avail.

You lot would have hated the 2000s and early 2010s. Brat came out LESS than a year ago. Albums used to have much longer lifespans But now funding gets cut quickly and artists give up on their projects after 4 months Saturation is the point of a rollout
