The cultural temperature is rising—and biblical convictions are often labeled as hate.
But Jesus promised us this: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart—I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
Church, don’t shrink back. Don’t lose heart. Speak truth—but speak it with tears. Stand firm—but stand on the Rock of Christ.
We are here for such a time as this.

Heavenly Father,
We lift up our troops deployed abroad who are under threat and attack today. Be their protector and their peace. Guide their steps, steady their hands, and cover them with Your presence. For their families back home—bring comfort in fear, hope in waiting, and strength for each moment.
Surround them all with Your mercy and remind them they are not alone.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The Holy Spirit's role involves aligning your prayer life with the will of God so that you will begin to see how God is fitting it all together (Romans 8:26-28). The Spirit will help you see the plan of God taking shape in your life so that your prayers can be more effective.

The Holy Spirit’s ministry in prayer is not to get God to come around to our way of thinking and convince Him to answer all of our requests. The Spirit’s job is to get our prayers lined up with the will of God. That’s why the Spirit searches our hearts in prayer. (Romans 8:27)
