Why do USC fans love to lie and spread half truths? USC and Riley spent the last 4 years saying how they wanted out of the ND game because losing to ND hurt their playoff chances. ND said they’d be willing to move it but then USC offers ND a week 0 game that they know ND can’t accept for multiple reasons (one of which being they’re not allowed by the NCAA). USC did this because they KNEW that ND couldn’t accept and it would give them an out and a fake talking point to justify their ending the rivalry game. Pathetic really. Then they have the nerve to gaslight everyone and pretend it was ND that backed out (of a series ND has been dominant in over the last decade nonetheless). Insane anyone could possibly believe their BS (I don’t think anyone actually does though, it’s just a convenient lie for them to run with).
