Amazon Teamsters in New York City are on the verge of passing the Delivery Protection Act and becoming the first city to end dangerous delivery subcontracting. The legislation has support from @NYCMayor and a supermajority of the council. But New Yorkers are waiting on @SpeakerMenin to put this important bill up for a vote.
Speaker Menin, the ball is in your court. It’s time to stand with workers and to listen to every day New Yorkers. It’s time to pass the Delivery Protection Act!

This morning, Amazon workers scheduled to work at Amazon’s largest delivery station in the United States, DJTD in Riverside, CA, went on a one day ULP strike over Amazon’s illegal behavior during workers’ push for better wages and working conditions.
Just over 4 years ago, KSBD workers walked off the job & into history
After 3 more walkouts, many petitions, a union majority card drive, 10s of 1000s of dollars in wage theft payouts, and a settlement refunding all UPT owed to us from these actions, we are just getting started!
We work at KSBD, @amazon's air hub in San Bernardino, where temperatures soar above 95°.
Over 800 of us signed a petition for higher pay, safer working conditions, and an end to retaliation for speaking up.
Amazon refused, so today we walked out.

Another WIN for the Amazon Teamsters! We have the right to withhold our labor AND we also have a right to NOT be retaliated against by our employer for doing so. Amazon had ILLEGALLY retaliated against strikers during the historic strike in December 2024 by STEALING our hard earned UPT. This agreement stops the threat of losing those hours and potentially losing our jobs for exercising our legal rights. Amazon knew they were wrong and come to the table to fix it. Next is forcing Amazon to come to the table for a contract!

WALKOUT🚨🚨Early this morning, Amazon warehouse workers at one of the company’s largest delivery stations in the country, the DJT6 facility in Riverside, CA, walked off the job and publicly announced the start of their unionization campaign as @amazonteamsters / @1932teamsters. A majority workers on the shift walked out.
Amazon workers have already organized with the Teamsters at four other Southern California facilities, including KSBD in San Bernardino, DAX5 in City of Industry, DFX4 in Victorville, and DAX8 in Palmdale. Nationally, nearly 10,000 Amazon workers have mobilized and joined the Teamsters.
Amazon workers keep this company running. For too long has failed as an employer. By standing together, workers at DJT6 and elsewhere are showing we’re ready to fight for the respect and dignity we deserve.
