I am genuinely surprised at all this campaigning against clean air and lower speeds in built up areas.

Will Hutton has an article in The Observer this morning saying that Britain is bust.

A lot has been done, but not nearly enough. What creative but non-disruptive activities could we come up with to actually move the world needle on this?

A lot of this comes back to the issue of climate change, which many believe, reasonably, to be an existential threat. I feel a lot more sympathy for disruptive protests on that issue, because non-disruptive protests just don’t seem to have the same impact.

I feel very sad and frustrated with this result, as we now have a Conservative councillor who most voters didn’t vote for. People shouldn’t have to think about tactical voting in order for a fair result to be delivered.

Most of us voted for someone else.
