Claude Code creator Boris Cherny ( @bcherny ) "For people who aren’t building agentic products but are using Claude Code, every 6 months, delete your claude.md file, delete your skills, and delete your hooks. Then see what the model does. It might surprise you. For Opus 5, we strongly recommend trying to delete all of these things because the model may no longer need the extensive instructions that were necessary for previous models." - at Y Combinator Startup School 2026. ---- From "Y Combinator" YouTube channel, (full video link in comment)

Regardless when you started using Zephyr, it was probably because of Amit Kucheria. Just a rule thumb now 😁

I think the Indian government should remove the 18% GST on all kinds of electronics development kits. The people purchasing these kits are researchers, students, and engineers, and they have to bear an unnecessary extra cost compared to other countries.

Wife’s fancy usb c display came in handy It does pd and display - so I just connected the Uno to it, and we got boot logs and a sign in screen Waiting for blinkit to deliver a usb c hub that does pd - my usual one is at the office and that’s not going to be used for this anyways

We started FLOSS/fund in 2024 to give up to $1 million annually to support the development of FOSS (free and open-source) projects globally. Here's what K said in a post reflecting on the past year, making the case for the Indian government also to fund FOSS for strategic tech sovereignty: "Actually, no amount of material resources can enable governments to develop, nurture, and sustain complex, high-quality FOSS projects themselves in the way a community of passionate maintainers can. The incentives, DNA, and motivations simply do not align. Realistically, the idea of tech sovereignty cannot be rooted in 'owning' and creating all technology, especially software, from scratch. There is no way but to participate in the collaborative global FOSS ecosystem." Without open source software, it's impossible for us to realize our digital and economic ambitions. It's in the best interests of both the Indian government and Indian companies to support open source projects that they use and derive benefit from. I can imagine a "sovereign FOSS fund" to support open source projects that are crucial to the country's interests. The same goes for Indian companies with the financial ability to do so. Barring everything else, supporting FOSS is a logical business choice. I've said this numerous times: without open source software, there would be no Zerodha. Link to the post in the replies.

India's "enterprises" are worst customers ever. They don't want to pay and want all issues resolved on the same day, and act as if it is our fucking problem. Then you ask why are there no software product companies in India.

Great initiative by @tnpoliceoffl of removing encroachments and obstacles on footpaths. Hoping other traffic police in India take inspiration from them helping pedestrians with safe spaces to walk on. #FreeOurFootpaths @walkingproject

I had applied for GST cancellation a couple of months back but continue to receive notices from GSTN for failure to file monthly return. My CA tells me that GST office will not process my application without a bribe. Wonderful! @nsitharaman @Infosys_GSTN @GST_Council
