John O'Shea amazing chip vs Arsenal February 1, 2005. – at Gothenburg, Sweden
John O’Shea was the ultimate utility player, because no matter where you put him, he just did the job.
At Manchester United in the Premier League, he played everywhere — center-back, full-back, midfield… even goalkeeper once.
He wasn’t the flashiest or the fastest.
But he was reliable, smart, and always ready when the team needed him.
And then there were the moments — nutmegging Luís Figo, scoring a last-minute winner against Liverpool stepping up in big games without hesitation.
The type of player every great team needs.
Underrated. Versatile. Always dependable. Unfortunately they don’t make them like this anymore.

Damn. Should’ve been our franchise player for a decade. He could’ve also broken Rooneys record too

Maybe if Cunha learns to provide width instead of roaming everywhere on the pitch forming Maverick then we wouldn’t have these problems. Maybe if Rashford was on form finishing chances then we wouldn’t have these LW problems.

This is not true @Tom_Morgs
CAS did not make “specific findings that Etihad Airways did not receive funds from Sheikh Mansour.”
They found there was not sufficient evidence to support the claim that he did
There’s a huge difference
A finding that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove the allegation is not the same as a finding that the allegation was false.
They also found Simon Pearce to be a credible witness and it came out later with new leaked emails that he potentially lied to CAS lmao
#ManCity are understood to claim the Premier League has no “smoking gun” or witnesses to the alleged wrongdoing, and is relying almost entirely on leaked emails.
@ManCity also argue the CAS ruling in 2020 supports their position, rejecting the suggestion they escaped the UEFA case solely on a technicality that the case was time-barred and specific findings were made by CAS that Etihad Airways did not receive funds from Sheikh Mansour.
There is further unhappiness behind the scenes with the timing/presentation of the Premier League verdict, according to people familiar with the club’s position.

Manchester City’s claim to have “irrefutable evidence” that will overturn their guilty verdict on appeal is based on a trove of emails, letters and bank statements.
A re-examination of Abu Dhabi government documents, receipts and testimony from 24 witnesses – all of which the club believe were wrongly dismissed at the original hearing – will be central in attempts to force a full or partial acquittal or retrial, according to people familiar with the case.

City continue to peddle lies, convinced that their geopolitical influence means they won't be called out - but it already has by the Independent Commission.
And the Appeals Board will be the same. This defence has already been attempted & rejected as concocted after the fact. City can't keep track of their lies.
The commission noted 'sham' contracts, that the club filed misstated accounts, further noting certain witnesses provided evidence they knew to be untrue.
Cheats can continue to put on a front, but they've had years to produce this 'irrefutable evidence'. It's a fugazi. They've delayed, deflected & tried to make it go away.
Bravado is cool & all, makes the fans feel defiant & like they have a chance - but they don't. It is over & just a matter of time until the hammer comes down for good.

So the irrefutable evidence has, in fact, already been refuted.

You think you’ve seen peak idiocy from C*ty fans and then there’s this. Even using the word sham. Desperate, desperate times.

His verbal diarrhea made me suffer more than actual diarrhea ever did. I'll miss diarrhea before I miss him.
Sir Alex Ferguson basically said this but better.
"I constantly told my squad that working hard all your life is a talent. But I expected even more from the star players. I expected them to work even harder."
It's nothing new but it's been forgotten for a while.

“There’s something special about counter attacks and transitions at Manchester United”.
This is someone who gets it fr. I insist a possession based or tactico hipster manager wouldn’t do well at Old Trafford

If martial had the fire inside like Henry had, he could have genuinely reached a similar level.
He was so talented but talent only gets you so far and the fire inside that got someone like Henry to where he got.
He could glide at pace on his day but that day didn’t come enough

Obfuscation at every step to delay, delay, delay. I'm sure all fans bar the City ones would approve a judgement that banned City for an equal time to their delays ie 8 years
