ICSA faculty Amir Shaikhha @ashaikhha has been awarded the prestigious Dahl-Nygard junior prize for his pioneering interdisciplinary work, spanning programming language design, compiler construction, and data management for AI and machine learning (2025.ecoop.org/track/ecoop-2…).

Our system ServerlessLLM got accepted into #OSDI24! This system features a new LLM checkpoint format, multi-tier LLM loader, inference live migration, and more! This work is led by Yao Fu. Joint with Leyang, Yeqi, Andrei, @DmitriiUstiugov, and Yuvraj. Congratulations on the team!
Michael O'Boyle has received the 2014 Test of Time Award for his paper
"Portable Mapping of Data Parallel Programs to OpenCL for Heterogeneous Systems" at CGO 2024!
This award is for the most impactful paper from a decade ago.
This is Michael's third CGO Test of Time award.
Murray Cole and Bjoern Franke have received the Distinguished Paper award at CGO for their paper "Revealing Compiler Heuristics through Automated Discovery and Optimization"!
