Shoutout to everyone's favorite op-ed:
Oil traders are increasingly pricing the battle over the Strait of Hormuz as the new normal. Futures contracts for brent crude in December 2027 are now close to $90 a barrel, the highest ever and a sharp departure from even a month ago.

Here’s what @elonmusk and others keep missing: Russia can end this war by stopping its invasion. Ukraine can’t end it by surrendering without losing its freedom. Telling Ukrainians to stop defending themselves because fighting costs lives rewards the country killing them. If your “solution” demands courage from the invaded and nothing from the invader, that’s peak weakness. And you need to stop pretending to be some alpha
Elon Musk becomes deeply moved, and deadly serious, when Bret Baier asks him why he called Sen. Mark Kelly a "Traitor" for pushing to send more US aid and weapons to Ukraine. Watch every second of his response. "We should have empathy for the thousands of people dying everyday in the trenches. For no movement in the lines. For the past two years thousands of people have died every week for nothing." "I take great offense at those who put the appearance of goodness over the reality of it. Those who virtue signal and say we can't give into Russia, but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day." "I have contempt for such people and I want to make that clear. Because they're virtue signaling and their lack of a solution means that kids don't have a father. It means parents lost a son. For what? Nothing."

None of this would be happening if Marco Rubio were still alive.
Q: There's a criticism that we're basically giving Putin something for nothing. We're giving Putin these freebies. What's your response? Rubio: That diesel is going to be sold one way or the other.

It's been a good week for Putin. In recent days, Trump has: * Struck a diesel deal lifting some sanctions * Restricted Starshield for Ukraine * Cut intel warnings of Russian missile launches against Ukraine for several days * Canceled Lindsey Graham sanctions * Demanded Ukraine dump Zelensky * Absolved Russia for helping Iran fight the US * Pushed Europe to resume buying Russian gas

FALSE. Your own lawsuit says the 20,000 are people DHS "reasonably believe" are noncitizens; NOT verified. DOJ outright says they did NOT have time to investigate each person's case. And remember; when DHS sent Nevada a list of 185 names it said were verified — 100% were wrong!
Incorrect, the numbers add up.
DHS’s July figure, up to 190,832 records, was a PRELIMINARY universe of CA voter-registration records that matched records of aliens in DHS holdings that were pending manual review. The approximately 20,000 referenced in @TheJusticeDept’s complaint are just the subset of records manually verified so far.

Preliminary screening and completed verification are not the same thing — there is zero discrepancy.

President Zelenskyy’s comment on US Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s remarks that the war in Ukraine is at a "strategic stalemate" and that there are now "no prospects for a negotiated settlement": "You cannot negotiate future economic projects with Russians on the one hand and, on the other, claim that we are in some kind of diplomatic stalemate. We are not in a diplomatic stalemate. Shut down Russia’s entire economy. Shut Russia's mouth. Stop feeding them through your sales. Impose sanctions on their weapons. Open Starlink for Ukraine. You opened it when responding to Iran, after all. Everything worked there. Israel completely controlled the skies over Iran. So when you need it to work, it works. It costs them nothing to help Ukraine. And I said quite frankly: help us protect our skies and gain dominance there. Then Putin will sit down at the negotiating table. Why? Because he will lose everything. In two or three months, he will lose everything. And instead, we are waiting for the Chinese to develop an equivalent and hand it over to Russians. This is not a stalemate - this is called a lack of will."
"Right now, there don’t seem to be prospects of a negotiated settlement of the war in Ukraine. But the US is prepared to play whatever role we can in making that happen. It would be good for Russia and Ukraine, but so far, it’s proving elusive." - US Secretary of State Marco Rubio In an interview with the Greek outlet Kathimerini, Rubio described the war in Ukraine as a "strategic stalemate" that can be overcome in only two ways: through negotiations or through escalation that goes beyond the original conflict. Rubio said that, at present, there are no prospects for resolving the war through negotiations. According to him, Russia continues to insist on full control over Donbas, while for Ukraine "that condition is simply unacceptable." "A diplomatic solution has eluded us, but we are prepared, if we can play a constructive role, to make it happen. In the meantime, we watch with great concern as escalation could happen. Just yesterday, some ships were attacked in the Black Sea through a coordinated drone attack. We’re worried about a sabotage operation in a neighboring country that can spiral out of control. And, obviously, there are clear indications that Russia will use the upcoming winter as something they want to use to destroy what remains of the electric grid in Ukraine and force them into capitulation. Meanwhile, Ukraine has grown more effective in its ability to conduct long-range strikes deep into Russia. So, we share the same concern. The whole world is going about this thing like something that could escalate and perhaps become a broader conflict. So, we stand prepared to facilitate and continue to explore any opportunity for a negotiated settlement," Rubio said.

If you consider voting for Bruce Blakeman, expect him to lie you just like he's lying here.
.@KathyHochul and @ZohranKMamdani think they can cure New York’s cost-of-living crisis with excuses, empty promises, and "delusion pills." The real side effects of their policies aren't a joke: 48 utility rate hikes, higher taxes, uncontrollable government spending, and businesses fleeing our state every single day. I have a different plan for New York. As Governor, I will deliver zero state income tax on your first $50,000, $100,000 for joint filers, cut your utility bills in half, and end the government waste. Don't let them tax New York into the ground. Help me make New York affordable again.

As is usual, Shellenberger intentionally fails to understand the problem at hand for his biased audience capture. Climate scientists have been warning about glacier melt for years. The money is strictly allocated for specific purposes. The flood was too fast for sensors to help.
Climate change caused Nepal's deadly flooding, say the media. It's nonsense. In truth, climate activists diverted billions in USAID and UN climate funding from low-cost flood death prevention, mostly sensors and sirens, proven to save lives, into woke green ESG nonsense.
