By replacing cotton with wool, the IIT Delhi-originated startup is developing denim that offers better thermal insulation for colder climates. But that’s just one part of what the team is building. From making wool washable without dry cleaning to developing waterless textile technologies and extreme cold-weather clothing for defence applications, IndigoTex is solving some very practical challenges in the way textiles are made and used.
