I would strongly consider uninstalling any third party js right now if I were you. Especially if it comes from a startup.
Analytics, monitoring, etc are all massive site takeover risks. If you use a tracking script from a third party SaaS, then if they get hacked the hackers have total control over your site too.
This is what took down Polymarket today. They used a tiny script from a SaaS that tracks page load speed. That company got hacked, and the hackers subsequently stole millions from Polymarket users.
If you want to use analytics safely, I would use a product that lets you pin the tracking script and control when it changes. Most of the mature products support this, e.g. Sentry, Amplitude, PostHog, Mixpanel, Heap. If not, you need to trust the company behind it a lot...
Railway got hacked last week. Railway! That's a very competent team, with particularly strong infra chops. The agent swarms are on another level.
A typical analytics company is nowhere near as sophisticated. You should ask yourself: do I trust this company's security more than Railway? I was an analytics CTO in a past life, and I will be the first to admit: we had some great people but we were not on this level.
We (Detail) just uninstalled our session replay, which was a product I loved but is not worth the risk right now.
I hate to write this because I spent a good chunk of my 20s benefitting from product teams taking a chance on a nothing startup and installing our js on their site. But in the past two weeks this risk vector has exploded. It's better for the ecosystem if we move away from third party js as fast as we can.

I am alive and free.
Settlers tried to kill us because we caught them locking several Palestinian communities from leaving their homes - very illegally, even by Israeli occupation's laws.
I'm concussed and very tired, so I'll tell the story tomorrow.

I’m deeply alarmed by Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank.
Settlements are expanding, evictions are unrelenting with Palestinians driven from their lands, settler violence is surging, Palestinian families are being assaulted.
We are seeing an increasingly coercive environment, with the spectre of ethnic cleansing looming ever larger.
This must end.
There can be no durable peace in the Middle East without the realization of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination.

The thing about Google clearing a forest in Finland without permits is that they decided that whatever fine they might face is worth it. It doesn’t cost them as much as not getting the land cleared.
Because like ALL things, if the punishment is a fine, it isn’t really illegal for rich people.

Spoke with @JustinSalhani about Israel’s “Yellow Line”. It is treated as a de facto new border: troops hold the land south of it and keep detonating homes there. It is as if the ceasefire applies to the rest of Lebanon but not to this territory. aljazeera.com/news/2026/10/1…

I don’t think most Israelis understand just how deranged that sounds to the rest of the world
A war is coming to the West Bank
Yesterday Palestinian resistance fighters conducted a surgical strike against Israeli occupation soldiers, fully in accordance with international law.
In response, Israeli government immediately announced that they will do war crimes and started doing war crimes.
All the Palestinian villages in the West Bank are under siege, the city of Hebron is under siege. IDF is demolishing house after house, raiding family after family. They said they want to turn Hebron into Rafah.
More than 250 families were kicked out into the streets with nothing. People slept on the street last night.
The Israeli election is in 3 days, and the Netanyahu-Smotrich government is going to use this to start a war in the West Bank.
The only way to stop this is pressure from all directions. We know it works. International pressure worked for the besieged house in Qusra, which still belongs to the Palestinians because of the all-around attention. It can work for Hebron too.
But it will require EVERYONE reading this doing everything they can to stop this. Call your representative, hold a demonstration, organise direct action against the occupation’s assets abroad. Keep attention on the West Bank.
ACT NOW.

Israel has murdered a who's who of frontline journalists exposing its crimes in southern Lebanon, so I have little doubt it destroyed Radwan Mortada's family home as revenge for his blockbuster investigative documentary on the pager attacks
His home was several km behind the Israeli-imposed yellow line, so the occupying soldiers went out of their way to blow it up
The photos in @wyattreed13's report illustrate what a devastating loss this is
Earlier this year, Israel was destroying 1000 homes a day in southern Lebanon
The Israeli army targeted prominent Lebanese journalist, @radwanmortada, pillaging and demolishing his hand built family home, located outside the “buffer zone” in southern Lebanon
Was it retaliation for his widely-viewed film on Israel’s pager attacks?

Israel seals Hebron with 106 iron gates and moves to annex Ibrahimi Mosque amid West Bank siege
——
Israeli authorities have severed Hebron from the rest of the occupied West Bank, sealing the governorate behind 106 iron gates and blocking 16 major access roads with earth mounds.
Hebron Governor Khaled Dodin revealed during a press conference that the sweeping military closure serves as a physical framework for the systematic annexation of the historic Ibrahimi Mosque, according to Anadolu Agency.
Occupation forces have advanced unauthorized construction on the sanctuary's roof while seizing municipal infrastructure, water networks, and electrical controls.
The administrative takeover was codified when Tel Aviv stripped the Hebron Municipality of its legal management powers, transferring jurisdiction directly to the nearby illegal Kiryat Arba settlement.
Palestinian officials denounced the move as a flagrant assault on the historical status quo of the holy site, noting that occupation forces have banned the Muslim call to prayer for ten consecutive days and barred local worshippers.
The siege on the sanctuary unfolds alongside a broader colonial land grab that has seen the establishment of over 20 new illegal settlement outposts and more than 700 recorded occupation and settler attacks across the governorate.

Benjamin Netanyahu, declared today that he is planning to carry out the ethnic cleansing of entire neighborhoods in Hebron. His declaration represents an alarming escalation in Israel’s policies of forced displacement and a flagrant violation of international law and the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people. It must be unequivocally condemned, and the international community must act immediately to prevent the forcible displacement of Palestinian residents and hold those responsible accountable.

I spent three years watching the horror of Gaza, three years writing about it, and three years protesting it.
NAZA does none of that. It's an updating of the famous Milgram experiment in social obedience. It's a foretaste of the terrifying dangers of the AI rollout. And it's a case study in the human capacity for evil.
If you want more of the *what* of Gaza, NAZA will disappoint. If you want the *why*, seek it out.

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

I spoke to @nytimes about why the destruction of land in south Lebanon matters as much as the destruction of homes. Israel has leveled 48 of about 60 villages there, and fires and bulldozers have wiped out thousands of acres of olive groves and farmland. nytimes.com/interactive/2026…

Ecocide looks like this
Out of roughly 2 million olive trees in Gaza before October 2023, only 150,000 trees remain standing. This is a loss of roughly 85% to 90% of the region's olive groves.
Ecocide is the deliberate, widespread destruction of natural ecosystems necessary to sustain human life. Many experts would agree that Israel's systematic destruction of Palestinian farmlands, aquifers, and trees would qualify as ecocide.
Under international humanitarian law including the Geneva Conventions, any objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population like agricultural areas are granted special protections during conflict.
Olive oil and table olives are crucial to Gaza's local agricultural economy, but in Palestinian culture, olive trees are much more than just a commodity. They are symbols of continuity, resilience, and attachment to the soil. Many groves are hundreds of years old and passed down through generations.
Unlike annual crops like tomatoes or cucumbers that can be replanted and harvested in a single season, mature olive trees represent decades of invested capital. Losing them wipes out a reliable source of income for thousands of families, leaving them dependent on foreign aid.
