Peaceful protest disrupted by #BengaluruPolice again. Irrespective of chief minister @DKShivakumar saying right to peaceful protest is fundamental to our democracy. What is happening? @PriyankKharge @INCKarnataka @INCIndia #Congress @BlrCityPolice

I loved #RashmikaMandanna in this one. She's brilliant. Unfortunately her character, Jayamma, is reduced to being an emotional anchor for the protagonist, lacking the agency to impact the central movement.

He assaulted young teenage girl in capital of India, infront of Delhi Police.
Shame on @DelhiPolice

AISA President Neha Bora has been picked up by Delhi Police in an unauthorised vehicle, WITHOUT A SINGLE FEMALE CONSTABLE!
WE DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEY ARE TAKING THEM! THEIR WHEREABOUTS ARE UNKNOWN!
@DelhiPolice has crossed EVERY LIMIT!
#HegganaMuddu would’ve been a fantastic film had it got its ending right.
It begins with an incredible idea — identifying the protagonist’s behaviour as a problem — but then gives the relationship a resolution that appears to validate it.

Anant Nag, Vishnuvardhan directed by Shankar Nag!
Just imagining it gives me goosebumps..

Watching #KareenaKapoor in a full house with 80% women was not what I was expecting this Friday. Loving it.
Ahead of the release of her film #HegganaMuddu, @SagarAdithi talks to me about her role in the film and how women characters are written in our cinema. She also says collaborative teams are now bringing women's voices together.

“In her prime," as if women come with an expiry date. Who decided a woman's prime is the handful of years she looks like a magazine cover? Our bodies change through pregnancy, perimenopause and life itself. That isn't decline. That's living.
Prime isn't a waistline. It's strength, wisdom, work, joy and everything you've built. Katrina is in her prime. So is every woman reading this. A woman is in her prime from the day she's born to the last day of her life.
And to those saying "but look at her bank balance" so a woman with less money can be body shamed? Or "she's had a baby, so the weight is okay" so if she hadn't, it wouldn't be? What bakwaas justification is this?
A woman's body doesn't need a bank balance or a reason to be off-limits for shaming. No conditions, no exceptions. Body shaming is wrong. Full stop.

Loved the trailer. Does the film explore the grey in a black-and-white man, or the black-and-white in a grey man?
Looking forward @PoornaMysore @daali_pictures ✨

#TigmanshuDhulia recently called out movies like #Dhurandhar but his politics seem no different in #Ghamasaan which offers a very black-and-white-portrayal of a well known dacoit. Such a contrast to #PaanSinghTomar

We almost always limit film discourse to technical specifics, which makes it all the more important to question a story’s politics. If we disagree with what’s written here, let’s come up with a valid counter argument. If there isn’t one, let’s not resort to name-calling.
#VideoTheFilm was watched. Quite the disappointment coming from a director who set really high standards with his debut. #Blink still remains among the recent favourites.
