Potential sale of Santos to Abu Dhabi interests is a watershed for Australia. Decades of Govt. mismanagement of Australian commodity and minerals. Treasurer @JEChalmers must look how Norway, Saudi Arabia etc have managed assets becoming wealthy while Australia is in debt laden.

ON THE BACK OF ONLY 324 personal votes - Yep, so far, only 324 people actually specifically voted for Price.
We just checked the official AEC results for the Northern Territory Senate race, and… yeah, it’s wild.
If #AngusTaylor becomes leader of the smouldering Liberal ruins and #JacintaPrice ends up as Deputy Leader, Party Jumper Price will be on $368,517 a year.
Now, that alone might not sound outrageous — until you realise:
💥 Only 324 people actually voted for her by name.*
That’s not a typo. Three hundred and twenty-four.
That’s a 90% collapse from her 2022 personal vote, where 3,309 people marked her name directly.
(And no, we’re not talking about party-line votes — we mean actual humans who picked her, not just ticked CLP above the line.)
So to recap:

💰 Potential promotion
📈 $370k salary
👀 All from just 324 individual votes
And if she expenses like #SussanLey?
Add another $1.5 million in taxpayer-funded “extras.”**
That’s nearly $2 million a year for someone barely anyone personally backed.

If our numbers are right — and they come straight from the AEC and official expenses data — then yeah, it’s a hell of a return on 324 votes.
Makeup of the next Australian Government front bench has been announced:

No announcement as to whether it is 100% the best, which is probably of more interest to Australians than anything.
