I completely understand from a business perspective that PANTONE wants to get designers and print shops on a subscription.
Still, it's a little ridiculous that you cannot select a swatch in Illustrator when you bought the physical PANTONE book or know the color you want.
I'm super excited about river otters right now. I think I might have just met my new best friend today. He saw me before I saw him. He got curious and swam a little closer by diving and scurrying through the water. He said what's up and then decided to catch the current.

Acronyms mean so many different things to different people.
If you are not positive your audience knows the acronym, and even if they do, reduce the cognitive overhead of the recipient by writing the acronym out.
When in doubt, spell it out.
