My landlord wrote in the lease in ALL CAPS: "NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO GUESTS AFTER 10 PM. NO NOISE." I said fine. I don't even like parties. Then last Saturday, he had a 40-person BBQ in the backyard with a DJ and karaoke till 1 AM. My whole apartment was vibrating. I texted: "I thought no parties?" He replied: "MY house. MY rules. Your rules are different." I didn't argue. I just screen-recorded. For 2 weeks I logged everything. His parties. His friends parking in MY paid spot. His 3 dogs he said "no pets allowed" for me, barking on my porch.
