I tried to figure it out myself, but few weeks ago @kcrw played a cover of Darling Nikki between @KCRWPressPlay and @FREAKSONLYFM that I need to find again. A trombone cover at that... It wasn't listed on the playlist or anything. Please help!

wait, the NRA convention is cool with no guns when Drumph is speaking? I thought the best deterrent to gun violence is a person with a gun? They are taking your rights away!

I just took a photo for my new "real ID" and I am certain it is one of the worst I could have taken. the lady who took it did it from a tablet and so was looking up at me with it (1st/2nd mistake) then IT WAS A DMV ID PHOTO. IT WILL NEVER BE GOOD.

the lady had me look at it to confirm I was okay with it, and I responded "there is no such thing as a good DMV photo."

well, I have finally made it: I have been accepted into my first D&D campaign!

since I started late I am about 2 levels behind everyone, but managed to disable or kill two orcs while no one else could. a solid start! just have to not get hit and I'll be fine, right?

I'm going to just remind myself and everyone: I think they figured it out. Also, I hope Morocco can figure our France tomorrow as well... but I think Argentina finally figured it out (hand to God)

As of this afternoon, all 4 national teams that I follow/enjoy watching qualified for the round of 16. Most surprising: Japan Underwhelming: Spain (even with the CRC trouncing) Inspiring: USA Then one of the tourney favs, Argentina, who might have figured it out... #WorldCup

Although I finished it late... what a World Cup Final! Congrats to #Argentina

The 'Heistman,' a split national title and 1997's dueling, enduring conspiracies

Why Tennessee fans think Charles Woodson stole the Heisman from Peyton Manning and why Michigan fans blame Tennessee for a shared title with Nebraska.

Either Mike Hart is coaching the heck out of these running backs or... or nothing. Edwards got Wolverine nation saying "Corum who?" Wish we still had the one-two, but dang, way to pick up that mantle. Can you share a Heisman? 〽️ #goBlue #B1GChamps

that match was a good showing for the @USMNT. wish it was a win, but all things considered, a solid result.
I have to say it now so it's not a reaction one way or the other: The loser of THE GAME on Sat. should be in the #CFBPlayoff. 1/2

This is to say its stupid that in either the SEC or B10 it's absolutely stupid that a team from the same division of a conference can't make it with 1 loss. The expansion is coming many years too late. 2/2
Just so it's recorded here, I have #Canada as the "special ones" of this world cup... they have the intangibles this year... the magic stuff. looking forward to seeing if they make it as far as that usually take teams!
I'm really glad that I made sure to watch the #GERJPN match... tactics win the day there. Always like watching the Samarai Blue, but didn't think they'd have much in their group this time. Way to prove me wrong. Exciting #WorldCup2022 eh?

the fact that Germany only got a goal from a penalty says wonders about the difference in the teams.

I lost a hero today. We all did. The one true Batman - the voice I’ll always hear in my head whenever I read or write a Batman comic book - has passed. I’ll miss you forever, @RealKevinConroy. Thanks for defining the Dark Knight with your powerful pipes... and for being a friend.

Unless the western Church starts to see injustice as sin, we’ll have nothing meaningful to say to western society’s heart need for justice. And our ‘Good News’ won’t really sound that good.

Q: If Jesus came to set us free from sin, then why should churches fight injustice? A: What exactly do you think injustice is?
