I've been digging into how Umia's decision markets work, so I built a tool to make them easier to explore.
The Umia Decision Market Explorer traces markets from creation to settlement and onchain execution, with proposal TWAP comparisons and treasury activity on Base.
One design principle: cached data should never be presented as live verification.
Still improving it. I'd love feedback from people building around Umia. $umia
Try it: umia-explorer.vercel.app

I subscribed Meta for a verified badge on Instagram. Less than 30 minutes later, my 5 year old account was banned. I never got it back.
Two days ago I formatted my phone and tried logging into Facebook. Banned too. No warning, no reason, another 5+ years gone.
That's when it hit me: Nigerian students spend years building their identity and friendships on apps that don't care about us. No working support, no appeal that matters, no one who understands our reality.
So I'm building @studieo_app, a campus social platform made for Nigerian university students. Your campus life is the point, and you can earn real money daily doing tasks for businesses around you.
It's live on Android and iOS.

A team shouldn't need a proposal to pay every bill. On Umia, a monthly allowance covers day-to-day work, and spending beyond it needs a decision market.
This allows the core team to continue developing the project smoothly, all while giving Decision Markets a say beyond that.

This is what is so great about building onchain. The markets can be read by everyone, and shown in different ways.
Very cool work @iamdevroyale , building the finance legos 🤝

One thing I find interesting about @umia_finance is how decision markets turn venture governance into something more than a conventional token vote.
The interesting part isn't just choosing an outcome.
It's how conditional markets, TWAP-based settlement, and a No-Op threshold work together to determine whether a proposal actually passes.
I'm exploring how to make these mechanics easier for developers to understand and experiment with.
More soon.
Can someone tell me why the whole high traffic thing since last night from Antigravity @antigravity what's the hiccup going on
Yes I Love visual diagrams like this to understand user experience before building hope I am not the only nerd that does this
After @studieo_app went live I started watching what people actually do in the first 7 days.
Most don’t create. They watch.
The ones who stay longer usually came in because someone they know already posted or replied.
We’re now testing whether “someone you know just posted” beats a general feed for bringing people back.
If you’ve shipped anything with real users, what made them open the app the second time?
One thing that surprised me after @studieo_app went live:
People don’t open social apps the way we assume.
They open them when something specific is happening in their circle.
We’re now testing whether lighter, faster updates beat full feeds for that moment.
If you’re building for Nigerian users, what behavior surprised you most?
Update: the engine behind ReplyIQ now talks on both WhatsApp and Telegram.
You message it, it edits your site, you preview it, and nothing goes live until you confirm.
560 tests passing. Real phone testing is next, and I'll post what breaks and works.
