Fired up today at #laravelnigeria surely I will be speaking next year #aboutyou #aboutyoutech #laravel @theflutterwave @pusher
Thank you @iamahless
From the PHPtalks community, we say a big thank you for giving us something we could take straight back to our work: a practical way to ship better with AI.
Your checklist challenged us to bring engineering discipline to the way we use AI, and we’re grateful for the thought you put into sharing it with us.
You are amazing 🤩
"Tests are the contract." ✅
@iamahless on verifying AI-generated code:
Write the test first, or read and approve the ones AI writes. Then prompt: "Make this pass without changing the test."
A failing test turns a vague wish into something the model, and your CI, can actually check.
No ambiguity. Just a contract the code has to honor.

Meet @iamahless at PHPConnect’26
We’re excited to have Alexander Garuba, a Senior Backend Engineer, joining us at PHPConnect’26.
Alexander has spent over 7 years building the systems behind products people rely on across fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS, working with PHP, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
At Ladda, he helped build core financial products including Savings, Wallets, Treasury Bills, KYC, and Virtual Accounts, improving processing efficiency by 30% and helping his team ship 50% faster.
He’s also worked on systems serving 100,000+ users, led major PHP migrations, and collaborated on projects like about.nike.com.
At PHPConnect’26, we’ll be hearing from Alexander about the realities of building software that has to work at scale.
The name says PHP. The conversation goes much further.

Hey everyone 👋
For the past 6 months, I've been quietly building something. It's been live the whole time, serving real customers in production.
Today, we're open‑sourcing the entire thing — for everyone. 🎉
Meet Replayfy: session replay, product analytics, funnels, crashlytics, and an AI agent that watches your users' real sessions and tells you why your product is losing them.
The problem I set out to kill:
Analytics tell you what happened — "conversion dropped 8%." They never tell you why. The why is buried in your session recordings… and nobody watches thousands of them.
So I built an AI that reads every session for you.
Ask Replayfy "Why did checkout conversion drop this week?" — it reads your real sessions, funnels, and analytics and hands you the answer in plain English, with the exact recordings as proof. Click one. Watch it happen. Your recordings stop being dead footage and become evidence you can act on.
And this is the real deal — not open‑core bait:
→ The full product is in the repo. Unlimited. Self‑hostable.
→ The agentic AI ships with it — bring your own model key.
→ Zero paywalled features. Cloud only exists to run it for you if you'd rather not.
Builders, this one's for you: the agent is a real production system, not a demo. Planner, capability registry, execution engine with a confirmation gate, tool‑calls over live data, grounded citations, streaming, per‑workspace memory. Read it. Rip out the parts you want. Tell me where I'm wrong.
The whole stack, one command:
git clone github.com/replayfy/replayfy && cd replayfy && docker compose up
⭐ github.com/replayfy/replayfy
📚 docs.replayfy.app
🌐 replayfy.app
This is day one, and I'm going all in. Clone it, break it, tell me what you think, and if it resonates, a repost genuinely moves the needle for a solo founder 🙏

The biggest "hidden tax" on your company isn't regulation or overhead. It’s Brain Drain. 🧠📉
Every time an expert leaves your team, your institutional memory resets to zero. I’m building something to stop the leak.

Yooooo 🎉 it’s my birthday!
...and I’m making an animated series about Nigerian street football ⚽
The plan is simple: 1,000 people pledge $25 each → pilot episode funded.

A LADY NEEDS OUR HELP TO FIND HER LONG LOST SISTER
A lady, Purity Ebere is trying to find her long lost sister. She hasn't seen her mother and sister since she was 3 months old.
She wasn't given much information on their whereabouts, until when she was in 300 level and she got to find out her mum had been late for years—she passed away when Ebere was 9 years old.
Since no one knew exactly where she had moved on to, it became impossible to locate the child she was with, who should be 22/23 years old now.
The only information Ebere has is that her sister was/is a student of either UNILAG or Ebonyi State University. She should be 22/23 presently. Her name is Emmanuella, and their Mother's name was Ifunanya. She was born in Enugu, and also hails from Enugu.
The only picture she has is the one attached.
Thank you. I'll really appreciate🙏
Okay anime fam, serious question 🤔: What if there was an AI where you could just feed it manga or manhwa pages and it spits out an animated video version? How game-changing would that be?! 🤯
Building on 3rd party providers is such a gamble! 😩 KYC providers or Payment providers seem solid until they're not, and then your app's toast. Wish I could just build it myself, but those licenses cost an arm and a leg!

So i had a tool i had been building for personal use. Previously i have had to like install multiple k8s tools for specific functions which led me to build this, basically an all-in-one k8s tool.

Documentation: k8stool.eniayomi.com
Tests are NOT foolproof!
Serious companies use tests wisely, but also prioritize good design, code reviews, and user feedback. Over-reliance on tests can actually hurt code quality & slow down development.
Just my two cents sha
