Apps are now downloading properly on iOS 27.2 beta ✅ No updates or anything setting changes. Seems like it was a server bug.

Can confirm! Anyone wishing to downgrade to iOS 26 has a final opportunity! Downgrade to iOS 26.6.1 RC before it becomes unsigned; you may then update to iOS 26.7 or iOS 27 if you prefer.

Apple rolled out the iOS 27.2 Beta today because the iOS 27.1 update would reveal specific details about the iPhone Duo. So, looks like Apple is just skipping the OS 27.1 updates (for consistency across platforms) and moving on to 27.2 in October.

Could anyone with a non-pro iPhone or Air who has updated or is updating to iOS 27 (stable release) check something for me? Please see whether the resolution control button has returned yet. 😂🙏 It should be in Settings → Camera → Formats.

iOS 27.0 is out now to the general public! The public release has a different build number than the RC, so even if you're on the RC, you'll still get this update. Ok, now that iOS 27.0 is officially out from the beta cycle. Who’s ready for iOS 27.1 beta cycle?

So, are we simply going without a resolution control button now? 😂😆 My iPhone Air still lacks a resolution control button on iOS 27.0 RC. lol The 48 MP option previously required enabling the resolution control button first. I suppose that will shift with iOS 27? Anyone else has this issue?
