We needed to invent new ways of data visualization #dataviz to help understand, contextualize, and analyze the data of our interactive space.
A knitted bar chart?
Our interactive exhibition used motion sensors and a circular knitting machine to fabricate a row of yarn for each visitor in the @OttawaArtG. The pendamic months were quiet, but then, data started piling up, quite literally!
Our research addresses when interaction within the physical space produces tangible evidence that can be displayed, admired, and reflected on!
