Set up a public-interest litigation center that will shake the country.
We will strategically push for the impeachment of judges who are in bed with the regime, litigate a lot of public interest cases, and take every incident of police abuse of power on.
It will be a nightmare. None the political circles have ever witnessed.
ACLU and NAACP in one entity.
An awareness worth consideration.
Lead exposure is often invisible, but its consequences can be devastating. Ayilor is commonly consumed by pregnant women to help relieve nausea, yet few are aware that almost a quarter of sampled products were found to contain lead.

This and many other reasons are why I hate scammers with passion. They kill trust in an already low trust-world. They kill dreams, they destroy futures and above all they set the world back.

More than 100,000 people, including 40,000 children, will soon have access to safe, climate-resilient pipe-borne water in northern Ghana.
Proud to partner with Denmark, @GWCL_Gh and the Government of Ghana to bring sustainable solutions to Wa and Bolgatanga 🇬🇭 🇩🇰 💧. Less time collecting water = more time learning for children.

Who is your favourite teacher? Teachers are everyday heroes. They dry tears, answer a million questions, and help children discover how bright and capable they truly are. When teachers are happy and supported, children thrive!
UNICEF Ghana is proud to celebrate the teachers who work hard every day to make sure every child can learn, play, and grow in a safe, loving space. To all the teachers, yɛma mo ayekoo.

All the best reducing your fines as Traffitech gets implemented in the coming days
When you point some of these out, someone will come at you because in their mind you are making Ghana look bad to foreigners.
Many doubt this story because they think all of Ghana is Accra and Kumasi.
The real face of Ghana is in the hinterlands, and when your work takes you around like some of us you get to experience a bit of these sad stories.
Emmanuel Crawford was three years old when his parents sold him.
They lived in Ghana and they were poor enough that they could not feed him. So he was sold into the fishing trade on Lake Volta, which is where a lot of Ghana's trafficked children end up.
Here is what a three year old does out there.
He sits in a leaky wooden canoe and bails water out of it by hand, all day, so the boat does not sink.
And when the nets get caught, he goes in after them.
Lake Volta is man made. They dammed a river and flooded a forest to build it, and the trees are still down there, standing dead under the water. The nets snag on the branches, and somebody small has to dive down into water you cannot see through and pull them loose.
Children drown doing that. Regularly.
Crawford did it for two years.
He was five when a man working with a rescue organization came across his canoe out on the lake.
Crawford has described it simply.
"He felt a tug on his heart from the Lord, that this kid doesn't need to be here."
He was taken to a home in Tema, Ghana, run by a nonprofit called Touch A Life that gets children out of the trade.
And that is where a couple from Grove, Oklahoma found him. Audrey and Stan Crawford.
"When I first met my mom, I jumped onto her, I just climbed her, and we were best friends from the very beginning."
The adoption took months. Then Audrey got on a plane and brought a six year old home to a town of about 6,000 people in northeast Oklahoma, where he became the youngest of six kids.
He remembers the first day.
"I had my first hamburger that day and fries. It was heaven on Earth."
Then he grew up and started playing football.
As a senior at Grove High School he carried the ball 230 times for 2,304 yards. That is 10 yards every single time he touched it. He scored 36 rushing touchdowns, caught 19 passes for 546 more yards and seven more scores, and Grove went 13-1.
He finished his career with 6,777 rushing yards.
That is the most anyone has ever run for in Oklahoma Class 5A history. Plus 93 rushing touchdowns.
They named him the 2022-23 Gatorade Oklahoma Football Player of the Year.
And then he went to Arkansas as a preferred walk-on.
No scholarship. The best football player in the state, walking on.
He got there partly because Sam Pittman, who was the Arkansas head coach at the time, went to Grove High School himself. Crawford's high school coach texted him about the kid.
"The only campus that I felt a real connection was Arkansas. On the car ride home, I was like, 'I know where I want to be.'"
He redshirted in 2023 and has been stuck behind a crowded backfield ever since. Pittman got fired after last season.
Crawford is still on the roster in Fayetteville. Number 21.
Still waiting on his carries.
He has waited for worse.
Three years later and Teshie is still in the news for the wrong reason 🤦🏾♂️

Did you know that birth registration can change a child's life? @KuamiEugene teamed up with the Births and Deaths Registry and UNICEF in Bepoase, Eastern Region, to engage children, parents, caregivers and community leaders on why birth registration matters.
This engagement led to registering over 50 children. By helping families register their children, we're ensuring every child's identity is protected and they don't miss out on future opportunities. Let's make sure every child counts!

This is how history gets incrementally rewritten because nobody pushes back on narratives like this.
In reality, no generation in Nigeria ever actually "listened" to Fela. At NO point was he ever embraced by Nigeria's western-educated classes. He was always an outsider and a rebel that they treated with suspicion or outright hostility. Even the wealthy or educated who liked him had to literally hide to do so. His music was (and to the best of my knowledge still is!) banned from radio nationwide, and it eventually got to the point where he made less money in Nigeria - his primary audience - than outside it.
I grew up on a street where a few houses away was Air Vice Marshall Funsho Martins, across the street was Governor Ita Ikpeme, around the corner was Fidelity Bank MD Reginald Ihejiahi, and so on. These were the people I would often overhear having conversations with my dad, and to them, Fela was an "amugbo boy" (weed smoking loser) and community penis who used the guise of African pride to cover for his lack of personal discipline. They had no respect for what he stood for, and I personally was not allowed to listen to Fela's music while I lived under my parents' roof.
Fela was never loved by the people who were politically aware or active in Nigeria. The only people who wholeheartedly embraced Fela were the poorest and most powerless. And even at that, they lacked the education to fully understand his message beyond simple complaint and criticism of the Nigerian government. All his words about colonialism and imperialism flew completely over their heads. It was like explaining the International Space Station to someone who has never seen an internal combustion engine before.
I hate the narrative that Nigeria ever truly embraced Fela or his message because that is a laundering device for Nigerians to avoid asking themselves what on earth was so important about that message that a military government invaded his house, raped his wives and killed his mom, while the global "human rights" yappers provided cover for that government and never sanctioned them for it.
Saying that there was a generation that "listened to Fela" is an easy and disingenuous way of dismissing Fela's work and refusing to examine what made it so important that we're still talking about him nearly 3 decades after he died.
Why are we scrutinizing Mr Beast more than our elected officials?
