I’ve stuck with @Tinashe through all the teasing and shade I’d get whenever I’d turn her music on. Watching her receive all this love in real time feels like such a full-circle moment. It’s validating, but more than anything, it’s inspiring. It reminds me to keep trusting my taste, my creative instincts, and my vision… even when other people don’t quite get it yet. And honestly, it’s also a reminder that I don’t have to box myself in or choose just one of the things I love in order to make it. All of my interests, passions, and creative pursuits can coexist and ultimately become pieces of one bigger vision.
