Always good doing business with @Rehan_ulhaq & @iNabeelHashmi Transparency is good so Right arm pace bowler role we required - 90 MPH + - can bowl in the death - can bowl in the middle - if needed can bowl with the new ball - athlete - strong fielder - ability to hit a six with the bat if needed (hopefully not) - long term leader of MS bowling attack Much of the above Ahmed 28 2.24 cr, possessed too and he’s a wonderful cricketer hate to lose him, but overall profile Wasim Jr 24 4.1 cr . fits the role perfectly. Left Arm Pace Bowler we required - can bowl with the new ball - swings both ways - 87 mph + - athlete - strong fielder (minimum requirement for MS) - good strike rate (key wicket taking option) - can bowl in the death For those who have seen Shehzad 31, 60 lac play know that pound for pound he’s as good as any left arm seamer in the country. The guy knows how to take wickets. Obviously small sample size, but you can only generate data by playing games. Mirza 32 , 3.92 cr no doubt is at the peak of his powers but overall Shehzad gives us the same impact imho. looking at stats in isolation can be misleading and Shehzad also has a small sample size but just for fans to have an idea. Wasim Jr x Shehzad combo could be one of the most lethal in the league this season. Shehzad stats similar in economy / avg / econ ~6x less expensive on the purse. ^ the above is a one off explanation, the tournament is not far, we’ll get to see first hand whether these we right or wrong decisions.
