iLabYear4Days110-111: iLab Sports Marketing explores NASCAR this week! We are learning about revenue streams, the history of NASCAR, brand loyalty, innovative marketing tactics, and case studies of the first African-American NASCAR driver Wendell Scott and today's Bubba Wallace.
Well today was interesting... 1 in 54 knew who this was and they learned about economic decision making! They can all sing the chorus to We can’t always get what we want....and understand how it relates to needs and wants ! Whew - challenge to get 54 kids singing at 9 am.
I’m making the most of this unfortunate turn of events... spending time with family and coworkers online. Leyton got to meet Mr T and all my fellow Stallions this morning during our conference. @GRHS_Stallions @GRHSiLab
Wow such a turn of events. Here are all the magic bands we were suppose to use to go to the Disney Youth Education Series .The kids are so disheartened.
One lunch planting! Kids picked flowers to grow and look forward to beautifying their outdoor space!@GRHSiLab @ChrisJacobsGRHS
I have amazing coworkers who truly love our iLAB kids and wear their ❤️on their sleeve. Today’s impromptu lesson in the lives of others made a great impact on our impressionable freshman. @ChrisJacobsGRHS @GRHSiLab
#GRHSDLD @GRHS_Stallions We had a great day of research on our African American entrepreneurs project
Great day at school. We had a blast and we are ready to tackle the WISE test and excited to investigate the exhibits we will see next week in Washington DC
Students repurposed jars with fall decor and made candle holders today. They also write thank you cards and showed appreciation to those who support our program. @GRHSiLab @GRHS_Stallions
Starting my Friday off with this amazing student who is helping with our iLAB art vibe district. This will be placed outside on the access ramp going into the World Geography learning cottage @GRHSiLab @IlabSmt @GRHS_Stallions #WeAreVBSchools
