I analyzed search data from 200 websites. Here is what I found: Position #1 on Google gets 67.6% CTR. Positions #6–10? Just 1.3% 🤯 The biggest surprise is how much opportunity sits below it: > only 6.1% of impressions come from the top 3 > 51.8% sit in positions 4–10 > 42% are outside the top 10 So most websites don’t need to discover thousands of new keywords. They already have impressions...they just need to move existing rankings a few positions higher 📈 I also added the Outseo Organic Index. It currently sits at 113, meaning the median website grew 13% over the previous 28 days. This is just the beginning. Every new website makes the benchmark smarter. My project went VIRAL!!! 🚀 I built it in 3 HOURS, but that was the easy part. Here is how I successfully launched it: When Outbid.lol went viral, copycats appeared everywhere. Most copied it 1:1, so none had a reason to stand out. Others took the simple idea and turned it into a huge, complicated product. I chose a different path. I kept the viral leaderboard mechanic, but added my own TWIST to it. I started ranking websites by verified organic traffic. The launch was fast. Getting anyone to care was the next problem. @tibo_maker liked the project, so I simply asked him for a repost. He said yes, people started listing their websites, and every new listing made the leaderboard more interesting! More data brought more attention. More attention brought more websites. As simple as that. But virality doesn’t mean you can sit back. I still tweet, comment, share new rankings, and build features that give people another reason to return! My learning? Don’t copy the viral idea. Copy the MECHANIC, add your own angle, and ship before you overcomplicate it. Then get help with the first push...and keep adding more fuel 🔥

Those first payment notifications give you two things: 1) A REAL signal from the market. "Cool idea" doesn't pay the bills. "Great product" doesn't validate anything. But someone pulling out their credit card does. 2) The dopamine to work even harder. You got one, you want more and more. It's addictive 🤪 From this moment on, you're responsible for all your customers. They trust you and see value in your product. They are not only your early adopters but also investors funding the next development. You're tied together now. No way back. Only forward 🚀

We grow from $300 to $1,4k MRR in 3 months by ONLY fixing the product! Same website traffic, same business model, same project idea. Here is how we did that. Quick background: I met @erikzavodsky a few months ago and like his AI video generation platform - ShortsFaceless.com It stagnates for a couple of months. I was surprised because website traffic was relevant, similar projects were growing fast and this AI video trend is on the rise. Something was off. How we fixed the product and unlock the growth: 1) We talk to our power users. We identified customers who use our product the most and started talking to them about their use case. We learn a lot just by listening to them which helps us identify new opportunities. 2) We redesigned the entire project. From a nerdy-looking tool to a simple clean design. Our target audience is not techies. We focus on simplicity and usability. This change boosted our conversion rates by 200%! 3) We started to use our product daily. This allows us to better understand the industry, and fix many UI bugs and glitches. Also, now we understand what it takes to run a YouTube channel. 4) A lot of A/B testing. We tested pricing, free trial vs paid trial, credit card vs no credit card, credit-based system, highlighting different deals, etc. This way we maximize revenue from our customers while maintaining very competitive pricing. 5) We innovate. Our competitors look to be stacked with the same product for months. I believe we are the only ones who cover the whole process of creating short-form videos from ideas brainstorming to publishing. 6) Mobile-first approach. We are the best platform for mobile users!
