In 2006, Dannii Minogue described Russell Brand as a “vile predator” and accused him of refusing to take no for an answer. “He is completely crazy and a bit of a vile predator. I certainly don't think he has cured his sex addiction, that's for sure. He wouldn't take no for an answer... He always goes that step too far. Never quite far enough to slap him in the face, but usually too far.” A female singer with a huge platform said this about him in 2006.

Not expecting to bring X down with my absence but taking a break-maybe better described as a boycott in my utter disgust and dismay that a single billionaire with no democratic mandate should feel entitled to affect the outcome of Russias war in Ukraine. @elonmusk @Starlink

Piers Morgan Presses Joan Collins on Trans Rights in Women’s Sports — She Admits Why She Doesn’t Want to Speak Out Piers Morgan: I support trans rights, fairness, equality. I just don’t like the attack on women’s rights that some of the activists are driving, where you have in sport this apparent unfairness now going on. What do you think when you see that? Joan Collins: Well, I don’t watch sport. Piers Morgan: No, but you know what I’m talking about. Joan Collins: Well, I know what you’re talking about, yes. And I know what you want me to say. Piers Morgan: I don’t want you to say anything. Joan Collins: Yes, you do. Piers Morgan: You’ve gone through your entire career saying exactly what you always think. Joan Collins: I’ve never gotten into the politics of biology. Piers Morgan: I understand why people don’t want to go there. Joan Collins: Well, yes, I don’t want to go there.

This is absolutely appalling treatment of a brilliant journalist @carolecadwalla . The silver lining of this dark cloud is that she and her co-founders now run the excellent news site @thenerve_news
When the Guardian went on strike to protest the Observer sale, I became a de facto spokesperson. Later a Tortoise employee I’d never met wrote to me to cancel my 20-year contract. No goodbye & no pay-off. This is how they now take credit for my work..but write me out of the story

What does "legitimate" even mean here? The Electoral Commission found massive breaches of electoral laws. It was the biggest case of electoral fraud in at least a century. And that's *before* considering question of Russian interference.

To be fair, the other surprising thing was that they managed to film him in Clacton!

The most interesting part of this report is James Orr admitting on camera that there's very little financial support for Reform coming from the UK. The vast majority of their donations come from abroad. Foreign money trying to destroy UK democracy with Farage as the vessel.
Exclusive: Nigel Farage filmed undercover celebrating secret new foreign donations Undercover footage verified by Channel 4 News reveals a secret plot by senior Reform UK figures to break the law on party donations. A leading legal expert is now calling for a criminal investigation. 🔗 Read the exclusive story on Substack: channel4news.substack.com/p/…

It’s not “a plot to keep Nige down”. The “establishment” isn’t out to get him, he’s just a run of the mill con artist and a greedy posh twat with no morals. If you STILL believe Nigel is in it for “the people” and by that he means you, then you’re as thick as shit, mate.

#Farage is done. If no action is taken on this we don’t have a democracy anymore.
The only surprising thing about this report is that it was all captured in such exquisite detail on video! Congratulations to the @Verbatim_Media and @Channel4News. Farage has been doing this kind of thing a DECADE.

This is a great read, but for a more complete piece on this I would recommend reading @thenerve_news series of articles - The Harborne Receipts xitter.cf/thenerve_news/status/2…
Nigel Farage’s “intensely private” billionaire megadonor Christopher Harborne is known as a crypto baron. But he has another empire too. A military one. It extends from Thailand to Washington. What would that mean for a UK under Reform? Here’s the story. theguardian.com/business/202…

A Doncaster vicar comforts an anxious parishioner in a wheelchair as Unite the Right bully their way into his church. All because he stood alongside a counter‑protest. This should be on the front page of every newspaper this morning; it isn’t.
