Meet Alastair Mobley, Trial Team Manager & PhD student at University of Birmingham, designing & delivering randomised clinical trials in #Hypermarker. He explores atrial fibrillation's ties to vascular disease & dementia. Off-duty, he enjoys sports, music, & walking his dog Loki.

Last week, a dedicated team of researchers gathered at the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research, Leiden University, to discuss the first draft of the Hypermarker hypertension model. This version has been enriched with project data and now reviewed against additional datasets.

As we near the completion of two years in our project, we're half way through with much achieved and more to explore! The team is looking forward to a well-deserved break over the Christmas period. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! #Hypermarker

Mai Elkhalek, with a background in Bio Pharmaceutical Sciences, is pursuing her PhD at Leiden University. Her research in Hypermarker aims to develop methods for identifying hypertension biomarkers & optimising patient-specific treatments. A fan of drawing, guitar, and nature.
