Played around 7 missions of Armored Core last night.
Fromsoftware always impresses with their sound design and animation work. Explosions, boosts and your laser sword all feel incredible to use.
I do accidently hit L3 a bunch which makes you charge forward haha. It's good!
Following up my Fuedal Japan quest with some giant robot action!
I hear great things about this game, and I'm ready to dive in!
70 hours later...Nioh 2 finally done.
A journey full of rage and awesome combat. But I'm ready for the next game. It'll be awhile until I get to Nioh 1 and 3, but I'm definitely a fan of the series now.
Thanks for the awesome experience Team Ninja!
Holy moly this is hard. Rhythm Heaven fever is instantly charming from the second you turn it on. But is also pretty dang demanding. Very cute game though.
Hideyoshi's fall into avarice in Nioh 2 apparently mimics his real life persona. Occasionally the game will give brief historic notes about this.
I think I'm going to find myself watching/reading history about fuedal japan after this game haha (10 more hours to go! apparently!)
When VS XIII was changed to XV, it took me awhile to accept the change as I was so hyped for that version of the game. Like more hyped then any game for years.
However I can still appreciate the brothership between the party and the main antagonist Ardyn with his infinite charm.

Oh wow, this actually became an article! 😳 I’m genuinely grateful that they wrote about it, but I’d like to clarify one small thing.
When I worked with Shu Takumi at the company I used to work for, I was still a newcomer. I was basically in a position where I was being paid while learning from people with far more experience than me.
So I don’t want to talk about that project in a way that makes it sound like I was responsible for more than I actually was, or claim a particular character or part of the project as my own accomplishment. It was a large project with a huge amount of work being done by many people, and I simply handled the parts that were assigned to me. My contribution was only one small part of the project as a whole.
That’s also why I don’t want to make a big deal out of naming the title and risk taking credit for other people’s work.
Games are built from countless individual contributions by many different people. Sometimes you see people make their own contribution sound much bigger than it really was, almost as if they did everything themselves. I never want to be that kind of person.

You see a lot of Feudal Japan historical figures in Nioh 2. Pretty cool take on Hattori Hanzo design.
Honestly I kinda wish the game had more times where you would team up with these characters these moments are always so short!
It's not perfect in dock mode due to the touch controls being kind of weird (it's perfect in handheld mode)
But it's still very nice to be able to play these games without having to set up the wii sensor bar. They are still just as good now as when they released.
Getting mauled to death in Nioh 2 by this guy over and over....probably gonna take a few hours but oof.
The small arena doesn't help, but he just punishes you and pretty much instant kills you for every mistake. He's a good boss and keeps you on your toes but man the rageeee.
Hmm...what should I play once I finally beat Nioh 2. I think I still have around 20 hours left and I know there's a whole seperate mode unlocked, but I think I'll be good once credits role.
I've been really curious about Khazan for awhile though.

Megaman 8 is one of those games where the japanese and american opening are absolutely nothing alike, but both are absolute bangers. Megaman X4's were ok and it was a similar situation, but with 8 they really knocked it out of the park.
