They think their emotions are felt more intensely than others’.
If they are sad, you must understand that they are more sad than anyone else could be, and act accordingly.
If they are angry, you must stay out of their way, as it is more justified than any other anger.
It isn’t that they think they’re just better, they see all aspects of their existence as the dialed up version that others are not capable of experiencing,
High iq skill acquisition > midwit “comes naturally”
You see it a lot in intelligent guys that were terrible with women then actually learn the game.
Often the high iq problem is confidence in their mental models applied incorrectly to the world around them.
They’re usually right, and used to that. So admitting the need to learn, despite constant indications that they’re smarter than those around them, is the necessary and difficult step in this and so many other realms.
You literally cannot sell to someone more than 30 IQ points below you
To them you sound like a guy talking weird & weird means scam
This is why your 160 IQ friend is broke & some 115 with a podcast has a Lambo
115 is the richest IQ on earth. Smart enough to see the play, dumb enough to explain it so 100 million people get it
The genius is writing 9 paragraphs about "incentive structures" to an audience of 40
If you're actually smart, the most profitable thing you can do is hire a 115 to talk for you
If you're a 115, shut up & enjoy it
We need to do a better job of bullying our friends into not choosing horrible women.
You’re not the only one that has to put up with that bitch!
How about a good one that cooks and asks if you need anything whenever she gets up from her seat?
Start pulling your weight.
Fuck.
Every time one of these posts goes big I assume the comments won’t be chock full of dysgenic people losing it about “but alcohol” but alas…
I like weed and don’t really drink btw but he’s generally totally correct.
Level 1: disordered, no concept of the minds of normal people
Level 2: neurotypical, normal, some concept of what most people are thinking only because you are normal people
Level 3: a little messed up, at least traumatized a little bit, awareness of your disordered thinking, rough idea of what motivates normal people and what they’re thinking
Level 4: full awareness of your disordered thinking, highly accurate predictions and systems accounting for it, good concept of what normal people are thinking and mental models lead to lots of correct moves
Level 5: full awareness of your disordered thinking, highly accurate predictions and systems accounting for it, very strong concept of what normal people are thinking and what moves them, consideration and empathy with others’ disordered thinking, recognizing splitting, understanding when the good that comes through is real
Level 6: ?
There are a lot of layers to understanding and how to tailor predictions to those you’re dealing with.
It’s hard to be into furthering the field of psychology when at a certain point, it makes zero sense for one who really understands it, as that is life on easy mode. Money is easy, women become easy, making people like you is easy.
This is 100% real and you can learn this but it takes extreme humility and pattern recognition. The second you’re totally married to one concept you build all kinds of incorrect reasoning on top of it. Then you must undo.
Real video game.
I’d hate to be “old money.” You don’t really get to discover anything yourself. There’s no adventure in it
New money is a form of exploration. You run out of the immediate things to buy and then slowly find cooler things to spend your money on.
Richer friends that you meet along the way show you even better ways to spend money.
You get to learn everything yourself and nobody can tell you you’re doing it wrong because you don’t know what you don’t know.
If you’ve been across Europe and to all of the vacation spots you wanted growing up, it’s just expected that you make it back there.
It’s thrilling being first and then bringing your family with you for their first experiences too.
It is hard for certain people to make money because step one is offering something desirable for free.
When tasked with doing so, many realize that they can’t even offer something worth “free.”
That is pathetic.
If you can make something that people will go and get, even if it’s free, you can make tons of money.
I play money games. Everyone plays money games. When they’re around someone they know has it, they can’t help themselves.
If you’re not an egomaniac this actually sucks a little bit. No matter how much you purposefully hold back, people that you love know what you are.
It makes them ashamed of themselves for not having the same. It feels awful to make people around you feel small.
You can see that they don’t let themselves seem like they enjoy things for fear that you’re unimpressed, assuming that anything but the extravagant is fun to you.
Then you have the dilemma of “do I want to pay for this with my people, or is that just going to make them feel bad.”
The best happy medium is paying and then lying about how much their portion costs and having them Venmo you or something.
That isn’t applicable nearly as often as I’d like it to be.
You know that guy that you found on social media that made the best content ever, and then he sells out, and falls off, and nothing is ever the same?
It wasn’t on purpose.
Everyone thinks that if they just made it they’d be the real one that stayed hungry and toughed it out, and would be some man of the people or something.
But most of these guys don’t even sell out, half of them never even make it half way to the real money, they just aren’t the same people anymore.
They have this following, and with the following comes a different perception of themselves. They’re now known as this guy on the internet, they have this image to maintain, they have whatever followers to appease…
And then it’s a job, and the mental state that once provided so much to say, and so much great info, or all this personality, is a totally different person, incapable of channeling that magic anymore even if they wanted to. And they do.
You leave on top or you become resented as a sellout or “fallen off.”
Or you do the Jake Paul thing and make it all about eyes and sell your soul to igniting emotion through endless bullshit.
The way a lot of the algorithms work now, you don’t even have the chance to follow any kind of natural progression or evolution as an individual. You post in your niche or get fucked.
Do you know how good you’ll feel when you make it, whatever that means to you, without putting on the polyester company polos and pretending to be someone that gives a fuck about real estate, or counter tops, like a cringy self-betraying retard?
So good you can tweet all of your thoughts into the void and you’ll smile when you’re the only one that ever sees them.
And you can scroll all of the instagram stories of everyone pretending, and laugh at them, because they deserve it.
“Dark triad” sounds cool. It even looks cool sometimes. But true dark triad traits means you spend your life a laughing stock to those smarter than you and a dysfunctional outburst waiting to happen to everyone, on a long enough timeline.
The longer you go without one of those outbursts, or an unmasking, the further the fall.
There is a lot of silent suffering among men now.
I’ve come in contact with this archetype a lot. They’re loner types. They love information. They search for information. They find it, in the form of brilliant ideas and truths that they learn and understand (often in fragments or bastardizations) that are far from apparent to the average person.
So they have this knowledge that they’ve learnt, that they don’t necessarily understand deeply enough to have arrived there themselves, and they’re dying to tell other people.
The problems are these:
1. Nobody really cares anyway
2. They build parts of their identity upon this “insider hubris.”
They know these secrets of the universe. They’ve built an ego upon knowing these things, and they think they’re better than all of the normies that waste their time on sportsball and menial things like hanging out with other normies.
But these secrets don’t really get them anywhere.
Maybe it’s a small advantage here or there, like a cheaper way to get something, access to a better version of something, or a “more correct” way of looking at things…enough small wins to reinforce in their mind that they’re somebody.
They’re dying to impress someone with their new knowledge and to be seen as “the guy” in some field or another.
They’re smart and resourceful enough to FIND this information, or these “secrets” but they aren’t smart enough to fully understand or build upon them at all.
But this is never really challenged anyway.
They know so much more than the lowly normie that they begin to feel like they’re above it all. But they’re not self-aware enough to understand that they’re nothing more than a (usually poor) mouthpiece for the real purveyors of new information or those that bring to light new lessons to be learnt from it.
They get angry, bitter, and spiteful. They wage war against anyone and anything normal, or accepted, because the world sees them just like it sees those people who aren’t tapped in like they are, or more often, beneath them.
They’re the miserable know-it-all that understands nothing. They refuse to participate in normal things because they can’t, or they feel unseen as the undercover genius that can solve all of the world’s problems.
But they can’t even begin to solve their own.
