Bored Ape Yacht Club is joining @LACMA as part of a landmark gift of 200+ works spanning the history of digital art.
Eight BAYC and MAYC NFTs were donated through @DigitalArtMove, an initiative originally approved and funded by the ApeCoin DAO.
Congrats to everyone involved.
A major moment for digital art at LACMA.
We're announcing a landmark gift of more than 200 works of digital art, spanning early computer-generated works to contemporary experiments with AI.
Led by LACMA Digital Leaders, the gift includes works by @RefikAnadol, @REAS, @luyangasia, and many more, bringing new perspectives on the intersection of art and technology into our collection. bit.ly/3VOeUPH

Every ApeFest attendee received their first Mudwater collectible on the way into the event.
Inside each sealed First Pull pack was one of seven exclusive promo variants from Mudwater: Swamp Origins.
Here's a look at all seven. What did you pull?

in an era where a cesspool of newly minted bundle rugs are ready to dump on any newcomers to the space
plumbers and broccoli heads pray to satoshi for some divinely authored fair launch coins with immaculate distribution
it’s not unique to crypto
TCGs suffer a similar challenge
Costco fights and FedEx heists settle the distribution for the most aura-packed ink on cardboard (blessed the finest provenance)
so
we tried smthn diff and stealth launched
and gave 71% of the total Mudwater supply to the community for free
the spirit of early bayc
box allocation distribution was designed like a token drop
and soon, the limited allocations set aside for other communities will amplify Mudwater further
ask around and you’ll find Mudwater being talked about by leadership at collectible card companies
our inboxes are full of folks asking how they can buy boxes and cases
the thing is
we did a Fair Launch TCG
(might as well put a ™ after that)
and because of the apecoin:native reflection, holders are more aligned with the success of the project too
so if you want to stack size
you’ll have to acquire it one pack at a time from the apes who have it
good luck

Take your Mudwater collection with you wherever you travel.
With the new @opensea mobile app, you can collect Mudwater cards, packs, and boxes, then join fellow Apes at the game tables on mobile web at mudwater.bayc.com/game/
Putting yourself with garga is an insult to him. You were a major extractive leech who was only interested in getting a quick flip. You ended up leading a bunch of leeches and the moment you found an opportunity you used your projects for this purpose. It was better without you.
Slightly better wording:
BAYC and it's success ruined what could have been for NFTs.
Not really through any fault of the founders, they, much like myself (with timing of various mints), got very lucky.
@NBATopShot and the Beeple 69 Mil had already set the wheels in motion.
BAYC (as I said at the time) got the pricing structure right, and had visuals that myself, Jim and others could see were profile picture proof.
The unrelenting success of this format changed the future of NFTs, and their perception by the wider population. Arguably drowning out the chance for other experimental projects.
Moca mainnet live… probably nothing. 🌝🫣😬
🟣 Moca Chain mainnet is live.
The chain built for privacy-preserving identity is here.
With Moca Chain mainnet, we have launched foundational infrastructure for the availability of identity data and the auditability of identity states, while keeping users in control of their data.
This matters as AI agents increasingly act on behalf of people. The digital economy needs a trusted framework for delegation and authority, so businesses can verify who an agent represents and what it is permitted to do without compromising user privacy.
Why work with AIR on Moca Chain?
🔹 Establish trust without unnecessary data custody
🔹 Give users sovereign ownership and control of their credentials
🔹 Enable secure, scalable and privacy-preserving data sharing
🔹 Verify AI agents, their human owners and authorization scope
🔹 Recognize, transact with and reward customers through a single modular integration stack
🔹 Grow network utility with every new business and partner adopting Moca Chain and AIR
→ Trusted identity for users.
→ Verifiable authority for AI agents.
→ Better customer recognition, payments and rewards for businesses.

The best things in the Club start with someone bringing their own thing to it.
That’s the idea behind Anchor Drops. An ongoing series bringing artists from different cities, scenes and corners of the world into BAYC and giving them room to show us what the Club looks like through their eyes.
We want these artists to leave something behind. Their perspective, their style, their community. Each one adds another layer to the Club and another doorway into it for someone who wasn’t here before. That’s how the world around BAYC gets bigger.
For our next Anchor Drop, that doorway is in Seoul. Stonrok has spent years building a world and visual language of his own. Now, for five days in Seongsu, that world collides with ours.
BAYC x Stonrok. More details soon.

Otherside is a next-generation token economy made up of 74 onchain resources.
The only way in and out of the Otherside economy is $APE.
Kodas and Voyagers, along with Otherdeed environments, play a central role.

don’t think you actually believe that extremity is the strategy we’re going for, but let’s humor it based on the data
floor in ETH is reasonably lower because ETH price surged 45% over the last 90 days
in $$ over the same period
BAYC is up 26%
MAYC is up 13%
and still, unique holders are up
This my friends is what the @BoredApeYC is all about. 🔥
alright, the bag drop
first, the team’s been contacting people who had issues with checkout and we’ve got many folks squared away. thanks to everyone who reached out to us.
it sucks to stay up until 5am for a drop, or fumble through an app on your phone, and then run into a tech problem
a key frustration here is token-gating method.
a bit of background - when we do token-gated drops, there’s two options:
1. tokenproof
2. glyph
you’ve seen us alternate between the two recently
tokenproof is a great app, but it comes with a lot more machinery than we need, which means it’s easier for stuff to break
glyph is our native system, and it’s optimized for our ecosystem. we prefer this and have been moving towards it.
for instance - apefest ticketing this year ran on glyph for token-gating and went smoothly
we’re in the middle of getting the glyph shopify app approved, which would allow anyone to do token-gated checkout just by signing in with their glyph wallet. no phones and qr codes, no separate apps, just simple checkout.
when it gets approved, ANY community can use glyph for shopify checkout
but today we used tokenproof and it’ll probably be the last time we do that
Full set confirmed. Good luck apes. Thank you @BoredApeYC.
Every Detail Considered. Collectors Collect.
