But the position adds real short-side pressure, and the liquidation level is a magnet for squeeze dynamics — a push toward that zone could trigger forced buy-backs that amplify any upward move.
Watch the $83K–$84K zone closely. If BTC rallies toward the liquidation price, the forced close on a 40x short acts as a short-squeeze catalyst. Below that, the short adds overhead supply.
