Here's a small neat showcase for tables in #Haddock from the recently released hackage.haskell.org/package/… #Haskell library (i.e. markup works inside table cells!); I've also made a 2nd screenshot to show off the new default Hackage-aligned theme in Haddock 2.23 (i.e. GHC 8.8.1)

If you have an opinion on which `--builddir` folder name #haskell's cabal 3.0 shall use by default (instead of the currently used `dist-newstyle`), head over to github.com/haskell/cabal/iss… and join the bikeshed coloring poll! :-)

Evil #Haskell Quicktip: If you don't trust your API consumers to use `-Werror=missing-methods` and want to force your consumers to explicitly define mandatory methods for their own good you can leverage -XDefaultSignatures with a non-instanciable class constraint for great good

This is a disingenuous and misleading statement. Twitter allows to reply to blocked accounts (see screenshot) which I make use of in rare occasions to the very few accounts I had to block unfortunately ~2 yrs ago when I notice defamatory or inaccurate statements made in bad faith

Not to mention those loyal fans who insist on making defamatory claims (which they even admit to be knowingly misleading/insincere in nature and done for the sake of retaliation) about Cabal developers...

I did and it wasn't pleasant. After spending almost an hour helping a #Haskell newcomer debugging and fixing an issue in their devel environment to get them on their way I got publicly attacked out of nowhere by yet another @fpcomplete employee...

I can see how one might get this impression as a bystander but please excuse me if I've lost all faith as I've grown tired of the coordinated character assassination campaigns against myself and other volunteers affiliated with #haskell.org have been enduring over the years...
