Western sanctions are a form of economic warfare that harms ordinary citizens while putting pressure on governments that challenge foreign influence.
All the Sanction they imposed on Burkina Faso has failed. The more sanctions they imposed the higer the growth rate of the Burkinabe economy.
The new strategy is to befriend Burkina Faso.
