I’ve met countless people actively rooting against SpaceX because they see the trillions as a private club for the wealthy.
The significance of this gift goes far beyond the value of 1 share.
It gives the new generation a reason to not only cheer for the success of American innovation, but also understand how to participate in the upside
The OpenAI spy’s deep past:
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work.
At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated.
We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.
Everything you need to know about the Saudi spy
FBI and partners arrested this individual after he allegedly concealed a recording device inside his employer's executive conference room to secretly capture sensitive communications about the company’s super intelligence tech - Thank you to @ODNIgov Jay Clayton @AGToddBlanche and our law enforcement partners for their support in this case. Investigation ongoing. Protecting American SI innovation is critically important and FBI views it as one of our highest counterintelligence priorities.
The best personal agent startups are already thinking about this
Orbit is the only product that makes it possible to compete
google has an almost absurd structural advantage in personal ai.
chrome knows what you browse. android/gmail knows who you communicate with. calendar knows your commitments. maps knows where you go. photos knows your memories. youtube knows your interests. docs knows what you create. android knows what you do on your phone.
almost every important dimension of personal context already exists inside google.
which is why it's pretty remarkable that there is just no unifying ai product in place that works to make all of this work & work well. with clarity & simplicity.
instead google is effectively powering all personal ai products including meta.
Congrats to Monid, the openrouter for agent tools
Glad to be partnered - great way for agents to get context on people via @orbitai
We just raised $7.7M to kill every subscription for agents.
Introducing monid.ai, the openrouter for agent tools.

> discover, run, and pay for tools at runtime
> use 2,500 APIs through one connection: leads, SEO, marketing, search, ecommerce, stocks, video/image/music/3D gen, agent email & phone

Since this post went viral, I’ve gotten to meet the coolest personal agent startups
It’s clear to me we’re entering the consumer SI renaissance and this is how it goes mainstream:
Thank you @elonmusk
Orbit is live now:

As @joshelman says, End the Blank Box Problem
Read this to understand the true challenges that interfere with this
If you’re working on agent personalization, Orbit solves the cold start problem and provides the identity context you need for your agents to win

After a decade of scaling consumer apps to 250 million users, here is my prediction of who will win in this new boom of agents:
Crazy how even OpenAI still has a cold start problem
We will have a few million dots online within days, working on all sorts of things across such a diverse and large community.
Excited to learn from all of you on what you love and what doesn’t yet feel magical. Personally I felt a jump after 2-3 days of use after teaching it more about my preferences and things on my mind. It learns very quickly to be most useful and it can take on surprisingly ambitious tasks on its own.
We’re learning from how you all use your primary dot before releasing the ability to create an entire team of them.
iMessage is the ideal platform for personal agent startups, but it’s nothing more than a distribution hack:
While the single thread is limiting, it’s perfect for first-time users to reach their aha moment without the friction of app download and registration.
Just as Partiful did, Instinct will transition the power users that have demand for multi-tasking to a native app.
This two step process can succeed, but will not burden the incumbents like Meta who have the advantage of existing distribution channels.
