Disney adults with walls full of mouse ears canceled their subscriptions. They canceled their Disney cruises. One cancelled a $150,000 Disney wedding.
All Disney cares about is shareholder value, so hit them where it hurts, it WORKS.

In Canada we won't even extradite someone facing the death penalty in another country. Because we won't send a human being to their impending death.

A fabulous @KatherineEban piece
When you use medicines like eye drops, you assume it won't blind you because it's contaminated
The guy whose job it was to make sure those eye drops are safe just got fired
Not how you make America healthy again

This week a new lawsuit says Musk and DOGE are acting in violation of the Appointments Clause of the Constitution, a deal for Eric Adams prompts attorney resignations and the attack of the Judiciary continues. I recap for @MeidasTouch

It's breathtaking how much of this effort is built on bogus claims about things that were already known/publicly available and pretending they've just been uncovered.

"Vance had a chance to defend his OWN family, and he opted to defend the Indian-hating bigot instead. Where are the balls on these Republican men? Trump calls Ted Cruz’s wife ugly, Ted becomes Trump’s best friend… Elon wants his DOGE kid who hates Indians back and Vance does his bidding while his Indian wife and kids are at home. Do they castrate these guys at the door of the RNC?"

The CFPB is the financial watchdog for the American people.
The agency has returned $20B to the victims of financial fraud and abuse since 2011.
It's now open season for Wall Street to rip you off.
Heads up: The co-author of Project 2025 just issued a directive to halt almost ALL activity out of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Russ Vought, Trump's new budget director and acting CFPB director, just instructed employees to "cease all supervision and examination activity," "cease all stakeholder engagement," pause all pending investigations, not issue any public communications and pause "enforcement actions."

In the first week, Trump removed 7,300 people. On average, Biden was removing 15,000 a week.
Under Biden 72% of ICE arrests were criminals. Under Trump it's dropped to around 50%.
Trump is removing less people and less criminals. These guys are terrible at everything.

It is great that people stand up & fight, but I fear that the cowardly plutocrats will be the first to submit to Trump. Many of the worst have already done so.
