This is a good summary of the perils of ESD. I continue to be surprised about how blase some folk can be about it, particularly the "I've never had an issue" mindset! Worth a read.... ifixit.com/News/63909/what-i… via @iFixit

I'm preparing some new content for the OpenTelemetry page on Grafana's website and I want to hear from you: what's your biggest question when it comes to using @opentelemetry and @grafana? And what's your biggest pain?

The S-Band Transponder was the main radio transmitter/receiver on the Apollo missions to the Moon, communicating 239,000 miles back to Earth. We've wired one up and transmitted successfully through it with a big stack of test equipment. 🧵
Bought Smith/Kotzen ages ago, then promptly lost the CD. Unearthed in the home office today and finally given it a spin. Great stuff! Trying to work out who played B3 on "Glory Road" though - can't find any reference ? :) smithkotzen.com/

I'm writing a thread on my entire career, with stories stretching back almost 40 years. Warts and all. The few ups, the many downs. I'll add to it only while there's interest. Follow it here: xitter.cf/shahidkamal/status/143…

Another great visualisation from @matthen2 :)
Julien and I have a bunch of folk in common, but none the less re-tweeting for reach @Anritsu maybe can help too?
So cool to see this coming to fruition. It, I think, represents an unparalleled degree of openness throughout the process and a great demonstration of what can be accomplished by the open technical commons. Tip of the hat to @lkcl and all involved! @OpenPOWERorg
