I know the Arsenal stat has like 7 pens in 14 games for spurs and between 2018 and the time that he left he only scored 2/3 from open play.

Performances like this always frustrate me with Kane. You can always question his performance as a pure striker when the goals don’t arrive.

Rooney had a better start and better heights throughout his career.

If he ONLY scored pens then fair enough, but how are you complaining that a prolific forward also scored pens lol that’s his job.
To me, the Ballon d'Or winner has always meant that, currently, they're the best player in the world. If the best player in the world is Harry Kane, that's mental.
Yes, he scores a lot of goals (a shitload of them were penalties; 34 in the last 2.5 seasons) but I just can't have it that he's THE pinnacle of football. That he's THE ABSOLUTE BEST in the world.
Messi scored 91 goals and did all the assists, took their job corners, free kicks, ran through teams like yamal etc.
He did it all.
AND there were 21 games he didn’t even score in that season.
We will NEVER experience any like that again.
my only problem with Kane as a spurs fan was always that he wasn’t a pure striker and spurs needed a presence in front of the opposition defenders because we weren’t all the way there.
