In pentesting, “getting domain admin” is a means by which we can show impact, but it’s not the end goal. It’s also not the ONLY way to show impact. I’ve had numerous engagements where I got access to servers and data I shouldn’t have been able to get to, but I didn’t get all the way to DA. That’s still a huge win for the client. Impact > flexing PS - anyone recognize the room in this pic? :)
