🐾❤️ There Is No Love Like Pit Bull Love! ❤️🐾
There’s something special about a Pit Bull’s love. It’s loyal, unconditional, and straight from the heart. They don’t care about your past, your mistakes, or what the world thinks of you. ❤️🐶

A 13 year old boy came into an El Paso hospital weighing 33 pounds. Doctors said he was "literally skin and bone."
September 5. His adoptive parents brought him in unconscious. Broken ribs. A fractured spine. Bruises all over his body. His heart working at 30 percent. Staff did chest compressions for 25 minutes. He's on dialysis now, and doctors told investigators he most likely won't survive.
Investigators say his room had an air mattress, a torn pillow, no furniture, a lock on the outside, an alarm on the door and the only camera in the house. His siblings had furnished bedrooms. Per KVIA, the pantry was locked too.
Court documents say his adoptive mom watched him on that camera going "stiff and limp" and wanted to make sure he wasn't "faking."
Timothy and Katrina Sibley were arrested October 7, jail records show, and charged with injury to a child. He's held on $265,000 bond. She's held on $1 million. Charged, not convicted.
They adopted him when he was 2. Who was supposed to be checking on this boy?

Two dogs dead. A third barely made it. And two families say the vet who operated wasn't licensed in Tennessee.
East Nashville, Caudle Vet Clinic. Metro Police and the DA's office have confirmed a criminal investigation.
Reggie went in after his owners found a lump that seemed to show up overnight. Five days later he was in surgery. Within a month they had to put him down.
Brooks and Christine Davis say the wound kept reopening, and every call they got the same line: "He's doing great, he's just bleeding a little bit." When they finally took him back, Christine says he had "a gaping hole in the back of his leg." Infected. Necrotic.
Wunjo died too. Gill survived after his family took him somewhere else.
Nobody has been charged. Per NewsChannel 5, the clinic still appears to be open.
Why is it still open?

Hemi was 11 years old. A yellow Lab who went outside with his owner one December morning and never came home.
Westport, Pennsylvania. December 16, 2024. State Police followed the search to a neighbor's hunting cabin and found blood and dog hair.
The next day Hemi turned up in a farm field more than three hours away. Shot in the neck. Dumped a couple miles from the neighbor's own house. His microchip is how they knew it was him.
Robert J. Wallish III, 55, told the jury it was self defense and he panicked. The DA called it a "carefully concocted story."
Friday a Clinton County jury took about an hour to convict him of aggravated animal cruelty and tampering with evidence. His first trial ended in a mistrial in March after a courthouse dog wandered into the jury room.
He faces up to 9 years. What should he get?

A one year old dog was left tied to a cemetery gate with a gash in his neck nearly 9 inches long. Infected. Down to the tissue.
His name is Frankie.
Yonkers, New York. November 21. Frankie sat tied to the gate at Saint John's Cemetery with no food or water for more than three hours before a good Samaritan found him. He needed two hours of surgery. His ribs were showing.
Anita Martin just pleaded guilty to animal cruelty and abandonment. Her expected sentence in January: three years probation, 20 hours of community service, $1,618.50 restitution and the animal abuse registry.
No jail.
The vet called Frankie "remarkably sweet and loving." After all that.
Three years probation for this. Is that justice?

‼️‼️‼️URGENT SENIOR‼️‼️‼️
BEYOND URGENT IN FULTON COUNTY, GA‼️ Sometimes we don’t know every detail of a dog’s past when they come into the shelter, but their bodies can tell stories of their own.💔Despite everything, Daniella is one of the sweetest dogs at the shelter. It’s rare to see her tail not wagging with excitement when she sees you stop by. She loves going for walks, gets so excited for dinner, takes treats gently, and has a serious weakness for cheese.💔
She makes the most of every little moment, and it’s hard not to wonder what she could be like when she finally has a home of her own.
Sadly, Daniella has been given a deadline due to the ongoing space crisis at Fulton County Animal Services. She needs to leave the shelter by Thursday, October 15 at 7 PM‼️‼️‼️‼️She has done well meeting other dogs and deserves the chance to be more than another dog waiting in an overcrowded shelter.‼️‼️Please consider fostering or adopting Daniella before her deadline.🙏🙏🙏Help us give this happy girl the chance to keep wagging her tail outside the shelter walls.

Holy shit. He literally lures that dog out into the open so he can shoot it.
So many people do not understand what a massive problem this is. Amost every day a dozen dogs get DROPPED by cops in this country.
Mailmen don't shoot dogs. Delivery drivers don't shoot dogs.
Why is it that cops are dropping dogs in this country ever' damn day?

Shippling dog to places ain't rescue. It's dangerous, reckless and resulting in missing & dead dogs.
Animal welfare's job is to SAVE animals not FAIL them..
No arrests made yet. Hundreds of missing dogs.
WHY DO @bestfriends partners keep doing this?

Welcome to The Herd House, Steve Carell!

It’s a special @LolaPatolla $5 Friday!!
You can help us help Steve Carell with a donation to his medical care.

Or search the web using @DogDogHQ
Steve Carell is a 6 months old puppy with a few missing teeth and multiple fractures: A broken leg, pelvis, spine and a few ribs. He was surrendered to veterinary care and The Rescue Coop swooped in.
We think he was hit by a car. He had been left injured on the porch for over a month.
Steve was found paralyzed with feces stuck to his tail and bugs in his fur. He has hookworms. His x-rays are hard to look at - there’s a lot going on.
Steve is a warrior. Since entering veterinary care he has been getting pain management and crate rest. One day, he stood up! Then he took a few steps. The team began taking him out for short walks. He improved every single time. We are all completely blown away. His injuries have not been resolved or repaired, but I have a team in place and we will make a plan.
Sylvester’s story is truly inspiring—after 19 days missing, he fought against incredible odds and is now in urgent need of veterinary care. His family is facing big expenses to help him recover from a severe injury & every $ counts! #SupportSylvester gofund.me/c3122a013
