Naming White supremacy as the driver of racism + race-related stress is imp't. 1st, naming identifies the system of oppression in which racism occurs. 2nd, connecting WS to racial oppression links beliefs & behaviors abt domination + subordination to a system (vs. individuals).

Precisely. If you break this down further by #NYC neighborhood and calendar month, most 311 calls are made IN the summer and IN gentrified/gentrifying ‘hoods. So pls don’t tell me this is abt general public safety
