🇺🇸🚨 The #HindRajabFoundation has filed an urgent request with the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding the immediate investigation, arrest, and prosecution of Sean Glass, currently present in the United States. Glass commanded the Israeli unit implicated in Hind Rajab's murder. HRF's investigation places the 52nd Battalion—including Glass and his Vampire Empire Company—near her vehicle during the killing. Today, Glass walks free in the U.S. ➡️ More → bit.ly/4iv2Zio

An attack ad that just shows his opponent (Andy Harris) behaving as he normally does. Devastating.
🚨 NEW AD. Andy Harris hadn’t faced voters in years. Then this happened at our debate

At our debate, Harris blamed high diesel prices on “Democrats’ environmental regulations.” The room laughed, and he threw a tantrum. Democrats, Republicans, and independents can all agree on this one: that answer was laughable. Even Republican commentator Clay Mitchell called it “just silly.” I’m running to represent ALL of Maryland’s 1st district. That starts with being straight with you about costs and respecting you even when we disagree. Mail-in voting is already underway, and early voting starts soon on October 22nd. We have a real shot at beating Andy Harris and giving MD-01 the chance to be represented by someone who wants to listen to them and respect their voices. Chip in today to help us win! secure.actblue.com/donate/ds…

It was obviously an accidental tweet of an intended DM saying “congrats” to a GOP operative on their little phony op. Reporters can be Republicans, they can even be GOP activists on their own time, but good to remember when she denounces all criticism of the corrupt MAGA SCOTUS.
Earlier, I tweeted a video from an Abdul El-Sayed town hall. I deleted that tweet because it was a violation of CBS News standards. I apologize.

Our hearts are with the family of Megan Lambert, who has been identified as the teacher shot and killed yesterday at Silver Rail Elementary School. Megan was only 25-years-old. In a statement, Megan’s family shared the following: “She loved Silver Rail. This was her dream job. Megan was compassionate and had a huge heart. She always fought for the underdog and those with special needs… We would like the other families to know they are in our thoughts and prayers. Megan loved those children, and so we will show you love for her." Megan also worked as a volleyball coach at Central Oregon Volleyball Club, where in her first year coaching, she turned down payment so that the money could go to the families of the players who could not afford to play. She was a selfless, beloved teacher, sister, and daughter who will be deeply missed. Megan deserved better, and we will always fight in her honor.

Latest on Heidi Levine: broken rib, four broken vertebrae, her finger was nearly cut off, multiple potential stabbing wounds. Surgery first thing in the morning.
Heidi is going to be okay, but her injuries are significantly worse than initially thought. It appears that she may have been stabbed. She’s getting ready for surgery.

On the Israeli settler attack on Palestinians and a WaPo journalist during an olive harvest: nytimes.com/2026/10/16/world… One thing our reporters noted that hasn't gotten much attention: the IDF shot a man running *away*, then claimed he was running at them with a "sharp object."

Late stage MAGA is so disgusting and unrecognizable to me, and I find this shocking as one who attended more Trump rallies than I can count. A woman with a “Release The Epstein Files” shirt stands at a Trump rally shouting at Trump to release the Epstein files and gets physically beaten by the MAGA men around her, who probably call themselves Christians. Then our obese President makes fun of her calling her “fat” and “him” claiming she’s a paid protestor. She got thrown out and the men who attacked her got to stay. MAGA rallies used to be filled with people who agreed with releasing the Epstein files, defended women, and would step in if a woman was attacked. Now the dying remnant of MAGA is made up of people who emulate their cult leader. Attacking women, making fun of their looks, and turning on the victims of the elites. It’s a cult, an ugly grotesque cult that does not display Christian values because the cult leader himself is not a Christian even though the vast majority who attend his rallies would identify as Christian. Know them by their fruit. The fruit is rotten. Because the cult leader himself is a wolf in sheep’s clothing who has led the flock astray.

When a member of Congress threatens a student journalist for doing their job, the student isn't the one who needs a lesson in the law. We applaud University of Maryland student journalist Cat Murphy for knowing the law and standing her ground on behalf of the readers she serves. When Rep. Andy Harris claimed she couldn't record his news conference — and threatened prosecution if she continued — she knew that his threats were empty under Maryland's state recording laws. Check out her conversation below with CNN's @jaketapper about how, and why, she stood her ground. Student journalists are journalists. They have the same right to cover a public official as anyone in the press pool. They deserve the same respect when they do. At SPLC, we stand with all the student journalists who face threats, intimidation or retaliation. If you have questions about your state's recording laws, or you've faced a threat like this, contact our Legal Hotline for free, confidential help: splc.org/legalhelp
'It's been a lot. But I was focused on doing my job and asking my questions that I wanted answers to.' Student journalist Cat Murphy joins @jaketapper to respond after GOP Rep. Andy Harris threatened to have her prosecuted for recording his answers during a news conference.

Israel denies the legitimacy of the NAZA allegations while treating the soldiers’ disclosures as a national security threat. If the claims are baseless, what exactly was compromised?

⭕️ Netanyahu on Sunday demanded a criminal investigation into the soldiers who testified in "NAZA," the Venice-winning documentary that shows how Israel carried out mass murder in Gaza using AI-powered targeting. In a letter to the attorney general, the military chief of staff and the head of the Shin Bet, Netanyahu asked them to identify everyone who took part and pursue charges of information security offenses, criminal defamation and harming Israel's diplomatic and security interests. He called the film a "false, misleading, and programmatic libel." The film, directed by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, features 24 masked interviewees, mainly from intelligence units, according to the filmmakers. They describe "mass killing on an industrial scale" and say the military permitted strikes expected to kill as many as 500 civilians. It won the special jury prize at Venice and is screening in more than 50 countries, but not in Israel.
just watched Naza. It was shocking. One of the most disturbing things I have ever seen. It makes sense why Netanyahu is freaking out. It’s a total deconstruction of how a genocide happens and a society can lose its sense of humanity.

UPDATE: Frank Carter has further addressed the male instigator who entered the women-only mosh pit at Sex Pistols' Denver show on Friday night, as well as those who took offense at his response. "If you are a man who gets offended by a band making room for a female only moshpit then you are PART OF THE PROBLEM. Stay home, read a book by Bell Hooks, come back when kindness, compassion and empathy have landed with you. Incels, homophobes, misogynists, racists, fascists not welcome. Also this isn't up for debate. I don't care for your pedantry. If it isn't your lived experience, don’t fucking speak on it. If you are offended by being told something isn't for you then imagine how it feels to be a woman in the current climate. And finally… When I say a Ladies only moshpit pit. I of course mean a trans inclusionary space. The space is for people who don't usually feel safe… To dance and have fun without the worry of physical, sexual or psychological violence being used against them while they are vulnerable."
Current Sex Pistols frontman Frank Carter berated a male concertgoer from the stage who apparently entered a women-only mosh pit during the band's concert at the Ogden Theatre in Denver on Friday night. "Every time, there's always a fucking man that tells me, '[Women] can do this all the fucking time.' Like, they can't. They fucking can't. Do you know why? Because they walk in the mosh pit and they get a fucking elbow to the head by a fucking idiot!" "How is it so difficult for you to see space made for women at a Sex Pistols gig? Did you decide? No! They can't fucking do this whenever. Ask any one of them if they feel safe in every mosh pit!" consequence.net/2026/10/sex-…
