Where's the woodchipper? Four Memphis men were indicted for the s*xual abuse and r*pe of a 9-month-old girl, a 3-year-old boy, and a 4-year-old girl between 2016 and 2017. ⠀ Daerius Ice, Isiah Hayes, Antonio King, and Antoine Wilson face charges that include aggravated r*pe of a child and especially aggravated s*xual exploitation of a minor. ⠀ Prosecutors say Ice organized the group, directed the assaults, and had the acts recorded on cellphones for distribution. The baby’s mother found the videos on a phone Ice had borrowed and returned. ⠀ In one incident, Wilson and at least one other person allegedly kidnapped the 4-year-old from her front yard, forced her to perform oral s*x while being recorded, and dropped her off near her home. ⠀ Evidence cited by the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office includes the videos, defendant statements, DNA, text messages, and social media posts. ⠀ Years after the 2020 indictment, at least one defendant remained in custody awaiting trial while the case continued to move slowly through the courts.
